Most people remove it and clean it with part/break cleaner Make sure you buy yourself a new gasket before you remove it thoe,they can be hard to get if not in stock

ok very random.the old relay i thought was buggered turns out to be fine, reinstalled it,gave it another ecu reset and now the aircon is working and the fan has stoped running? im very confused lol! ??? ??? ???

The search key has gone abit weird,il search something and it seems to come up with all sorts of stuff that has nothing todo with what iv searched If you can point me in the right direction that\'ll be mint, My mate just point out somthing,it cant be temp sensor as the fan runs without a/c even turned on,on the ignition,

Checked codes and reset ecu no codes As soon as i put the relay back in to its spot in the fuse box the fan start running straight away

Its only one fan that run thoe,not both What do you mean by fail safe mode??

There not wrx headgaskets,marc needs to hava closer look to be 100% there sti ones but so far it looks that way

If your looking at the engine its the left fan, Prty much with the relay in,the fan will start running with one click of the key/the ac isnt even turned on the ignition,and its only one of the fans that are spining (the non ac fan)

Sweet yea i can see how that works now When you actually think about it this small one probably doesnt filter as good as a factory one does,

Isee,the factory fuel filter is alot larger as i can see compaired to this one How does the factory one work?does it fill up to a certain amount of petrol while filltering To me this one looks like it would jus flow straight throught it and im guessing the fillters in the middle some were?

Hey im just wondering what the info is on how the 2 fans work for gc8 obviously one is for a/c on the passenger side and work when its turned on,what does the other fan run off on the drivers side?temp sensor?
