  1. I have one of those in Sedan. Brilliant car.

Engine is very smooth and rev happy.

    Dont get the auto.

The 6 speed and Bilsteins turn what is a decent 4 dr sedan into a balls out sports sedan. I can keep up with my brothers 1JZGTE auto Mark 2 and TBH its not much slower than my old 186rwkw Stagea.

That one looks like a reasonable deal. Maybe 20k?

I paid 20k for mine last year with 93km on the clock.

  2. Yo cheers.. Managed to score it all from a dealer who was returning a mod'ed legacy to stock for sale on his yard. Was a pretty sweet deal, all of that and prova adjustables for $1k.

Its an HKS intake kit, prova carbon intake guide and cusco carbon strut brace.

  3. I have a BL 3.0 and a BP 2.0GT. A bit newer I know but they are averaging out at about the same fuel consumption of 9.6km/L.

The GT is driven by my fiance though so consumption should be a bit lower :P.

The GT is thirstier than the 3.0 if you give it grief, but can be more frugal than the 3.0 if you baby it.

but personally i wouldn't get a petrol manual for towing. at the end of the day just drive the cars ur looking at and choose one, who gives a flying feck what someone's opinion is about a car, Its your choice.

This would be my only concern...

The holden would be the more suitable towing vehicle in my opinion, its a lot bigger and auto. However I just couldn't buy a holden :P

  5. I haven't had any oil consumption issues with my spec b in 23k km's of ownership. Its now at 116k. Im in Auckers

What I rate about the car:

Engine loves to rev and sounds mint

Gearbox makes the most of engine's rev happy nature

Handling is excellently balanced IMO, Bilsteins are just right for spirited driving.

Engine is quite frugal, I have managed 9.6km/L (10.4L/100k) over 15k kms of mixed city/highway driving. It can do about 8.7L/100km on the open road.

Its gonna sound awesome once I get an exhaust

    Criticisms:

    Interior materials wear quite easily

Could use a little more power :D

Clutch takes a bit to get used to

Steering is maybe a tad too easy while cruising

Overall im quite pleased with the car. I'll hang onto it for another couple of years. I also have a 2004 BP GT auto wagon. The turbo has more surge but the 3.0 is smoother and not that much down on power.

My previous car was a 186rwkw Stagea (which the clubsub members gave me a lot of grief for lol) and I dont miss the power that much and certainly dont miss the fuel bill and poor handling.
