Oh true... Well maybe I\'ll go back in and have another crack then. The green plugs were actually plugged in when I first got the car and still ran fine so not sure what the go is there?

Na all he did was plug it in the obd2 port, tried to access it through ecu flash and some other program but had no luck getting it to show up. I was wondering whether you needed to plug the green or black cables together? Were yours plugged in or na? Just seems a bit odd to me that your earlier model one is fine but they decided they wouldn\'t allow it on mine haha

It\'s not locked. They tried a few program\'s and it wouldn\'t show up on them. They can get into it to read but just not to be able to reflash it. Sweet, thanks. I\'ll hit him up about it if I manage to get this sorted.

He reckons that the earlier model BP/BL\'s you weren\'t able to flash anything to the ecu but that they fixed that with the late \'04 model onwards? Is this a load of bollocks? I think it may be when I read that syphe and subirex had no issues and theirs are the \'03 model! Is there something that needs to be connected for it to work?

Oh mint, you\'ll be stoaked! I went into local tuning outfit and they said they can\'t help me out cos they can\'t get into my ecu to reflash it... Whats up with that?!

Well if I happen to ever get it tuned it won\'t be happening down here... Went in this arvo to see if they could help me out and supposedly they can\'t get into the ecu of these things, (04 GT), which is kind of shit and also a bit of a surprise when I read that other members have had theirs tuned no worries so not sure what the go would be there... any ideas?

I don\'t plan on being up that way any time soon so these guys should be all good, all it will be is a slight alter of the factory tune, not a complete start from scratch. How did you go about it with gotasuby though? Did you go up there or were you sending data back and forth?

Well at least that\'s truthful review and not just heresay haha all I\'ve managed to find and read is negative rumours. I\'ve seen a few of th Dunedin guys have had their cars on th dyno there but not sure if any of them were tuned there though... Anybody shed some light on that? Pretty sure she\'s up to the task too, it\'s running good as gold atm just wanting to go a step further to smooth it out and make th most of th downpipe it\'s got on but never been tuned for.

Anybody had any work done by these guys and/or got any reviews and feedback on them. Looking at getting a tune done by them but haven\'t managed to find anything on them other than just rumours and chinese whispers. If anyone has anything to share that\'d be much appreciated and will help me make up my mind. Thanks

Going to get it looked at locally for a start by APET, the price sounds reasonable enough for a mild tune, which is all done on the dyno too. Anybody here had anything done by these guys? The guy there said the earlier model BP/BL\'s have an issue with getting into and being able to reflash the ECU though... You obviously didn\'t have any issues with this though?

Is that 10km on the trip computer? If so thats about what I get around town, normal driving. Do you think you could have got away with just the initial tune and ran with that for good or would that never be a safe option? Where did you get your cable from too? Did you log the data then send it back to him each time for adjustment? Sorry for all the questions just wanting to find out as much as possible before I go ahead with something like this.

Did you notice much better economy with it as well? $150 seems pretty good or do they charge more each time you get a revision done? And do these twinscrolls handle 1.25bar daily? That def sounds like a good option though. I\'m not wanting to do too much myself just incase something goes wrong but if its just a lot of logging data and reflashing I suppose it can\'t go too wrong can it? Haha

I\'m only wanting to run a bar at most which is what its at at the moment... would the downpipe have increased the boost as I thought the twinscrolls were only meant to run 0.8 bar? I\'m not wanting this to be an absolute weapon just after the economy and to smooth it out a bit hence the interest in tuning.

Factory top mount doesn\'t cut the mustard then? Seems like it would be a pricey upgrade for what I\'m after though...

Bit more modded than what I\'m planning and will prob ever do so I\'m thinking it may not be worth it for what I\'ve got? I\'ve only got a subtech downpipe at this present point in time. Will just put in a decent air filter and that would prob be me done... Just prefer to keep my daily driver as factory as possible. Dyno tune obviously not necessary then?

Shite thats a solid gain eh did you DIY or pay someone to do it and if so, how much did it cost you? Are these all factory setups you guys are tuning or mildly modded?

Did you tune for 95/96 octane or keep at 98? For the same job you\'ve done on your car you\'d be expecting a thousand $ bill wouldn\'t ya? Also I see you\'ve got the 3.0... would you expect to get a bit more benefit from a GT or similar? Anyone whose got a GT would love to hear/see your results.

You\'ve just done the whole tune yourself off your laptop like? Did you have any dyno time while doing it or no need? The fuel economy side of it definitely sounds good did that come with a bit more power too or just smoother power?

I wish I was man cos I\'m not at all clued up when it comes to s*** like this haha but unfortunately I\'m at the other end of the country in good ol\' Dunedin. Think I\'ll be a \'pay someone to do it\' kinda guy when it comes to the plugs too so I\'m sure wherever I take it will know correct gap for the plugs anyways. Another thing I\'m curious about is that this thing apparently has had the 2nd cat removed ... what effect would this have on it if any?
