  1. Close enough. Will put up the new location tomorrow when the sun is back out.
  2. Put some new tyres on the Ace today, crazy increase in dry grip! Haven\'t had a chance to try wet yet. Less body roll, closer to the ground, brakes don\'t lock up under hard braking, no understeer (yet..) I could rave on and on for ages hahaha
  3. Tyres arrived today..woohoo! And damn they are sticky, haven\'t managed to get any squeals or slips out of them yet during some spirited cornering, and the brakes don\'t lock up anymore. Money well spent. Will put up a full picture this weekend after painting the rims, because self conscious about the average condition of a couple of them.
  4. Saw ya at Hampton\'s over the weekend, I drive the wee ace that was having a coolant loss issue. Sadly I think its a cracked head and not simply the gasket.. Chemiweld to the rescue till I can source a head /alternatively a jdm front cut from a 1.0L Turbo Rex(not wrx) would be excellent
  5. Well I just fitted this set of 13x5.5j +40 Alizona alloys that were hiding in my shed and decided they\'re pretty much perfect for what I\'m doing with the car, so i went out and ordered a set of Yokohama motorsport tyres 175/50/13 I\'ve still got a set of 15mm adapters to fit to help with the stance, but I need to upgrade the suspension too. These rims need a paintjob for sure! I\'m not decided on the colour yet though. Input anyone? A it of browsing has told me that coilovers from Evo 1/2/3 will fit up front ( anyone got some FS?) and revalved shocks with cutties is apparently the done thing for the rears
  6. I found some 13x5.5 +40 alloys in the shed, bu they\'re just too skinny and will look lame as well unless I ran a ridiculous spacer I had a jam on willthey fit.com and I have decided the best wheel and Tyre combo would be 13x7-10 205/30 for plenty of grip an increase in accleration, as well as decrease ride height..40mm! I think I\'ll put some really skinny, low profile hard compound tyres on the 13x5.5\'s and use them as rears for gymkhana, something like a 135/45 would be nice and slippery I have no idea where I would find tyres like that.
  7. Ahh yes I borrowed a guard roller and pumped the living shit out of the guards..
  8. Along with suspension, I\'m also looking to upgrade the wheels on the Ace, Its a 4x100, with 12xSkinny\'s Where should I be looking for small, wide wheels, at reasonable prices. If i go to 14\'s, the overall diameter is so much that I will have little acceleration.. not good for Gymkhana. 13x8 has a nice ring to it...
  9. This is cool, it should have its own board!
