Hmm so 75w90 syntrax or multitrax? What oil will i need for either vicious or lsd

Hi, Just want to know which oil to use for gearbox and diff oil on 1996 v2 sti. Had a read at thread called suitable oils and says Castrol Multitrax or Syntrax. How much oil roughly will i need to purchase Although it did say its for 98 to 2002 So just want to confirm before its done tomorrow.

It would have to be done at a shop or if someobe here can change it for cheap would be nice. They said it was a heavy duty exedy clutch so i think that would be an upgrade. I have tried highbrook 1200, subtech 1127, michael parr automotive 1150, innovative 1050 and onshow customs was cheapest at 800 for cambelt kit byt aftermarket parts. I shall shop around some more and try find best deal.

To get rear main seal done as well. Its got a slight leak. My mate said if you do rear main seal should do it with clutch.

Yeah someone just msg me and said that their panel work wasnt great. I usually go for genuine at subtech but thought the price difference of 350 was quite a saving.

Hi, Has anyone had mechanical work done by onshow kustoms? Im looking to get my cambelt, waterpump, etc done and their price has been cheapest by far. $800 for full cambelt kit. Was thinking getting clutch done at $850 as well even though its still all good might as well do all at once. They said they use gates belt and aftermarket parts from autosource. All other places were over 1k for cambelt kit. Any feedback would be appreciated Thanks

Hi clubsub, With the purchase of my v2 sti i want to put an aftermarket exhaust on it since its too quiet. Would like to know if a v7 sti catback will bolt on to gc8 catback? Pappu is selling a Fujitsubo twin flow catback exhaust from his v7 and i like fujitsubo not too loud. Thanks, Josh

Back in a GC8 woohoo. Not the v4 upwards i was after but was too tidy and low kms to go past it. Got it for a steal too. Here she is, not a great photo but will take some once its nice and sunny
