Have them on my BE5, obviously can't compare them to non four/two pot. But it does stop really good even with average pads. Definitely doesn't feel the 1.5 ton that it is, really good feel as well. Will go for good pads when these ones die and possibly do brake lines as well.
Edit: also big red brakes look great and add 5kw.
What exactly does an immobiliser immobilise? Battery? ignition?
And on that note, where does one get a alarm box key? (master key or whatever they're called) my car never came with one
Thought I'd use this thread instead of making a new one.
So electrics have been playing up recently (no bulb changed or anything).
Firstly my number plate lights stopped working (LEDs) after making my car a mobile rave and strobing like mad. This coincided with the interior lights (AC lights and drivers door lights and a few other buttons). Bought new ones and replaced blown interior fuse (number 12 which I believe is no plate lights fuse) this fixed the lights both inside and outside.
The next day however I got the same problem as was started on this post (clicking noise when braking) checked all the bulbs but they're fine (12w5v I think with double filament) . Then that night the spoiler brake light would strobe along with brake lights flickering, also the front parking lights (LEDs) would come on whenever the brake was applied
Not pushing brake obviously. BE5 light issue: http://youtu.be/kq-QbVxo674
... I'm not good w electrics...could someone give any advice?
Thanks in advance!
Hi guys,
My dad's looking at buying an outback (4th gen pre facelift)
Just wondering if there is anything in particular we should keep an eye out for when inspecting. Looking at both 2.5s and 3.0ls. Also any advice from any outback owners on here would be awesome!
(Posted in legacy but admin can move if it's in the wrong place)
Hi guys, not suby related but definitely old school. I have a mk2 escort with a 1300 carbed motor. I've always used 91 but wondering if 95 could be used to make it run a little smoother. Any help is greatly appreciated
Hahaha cheers for the help guys. In the end I just used brute force and it came off pretty clean.
Just need to scrape the stuff off and it should look like new!
The lip is fairly scratched now plus it has a big crack in it (right hand side on photo) so probably not worth much. Could the glue be cleaned up with a fair amount of elbow grease??
Hi guys, quick question regarding front lip. We've moved house and the driveway is a b****.
I've taken out all the screws I can see to remove it but it seems like it has a sort of glue underneath? how do I go about taking it off. Cheers
Hi guys, driving around the other day and car suddenly became rough. Sorta like its running on 3 cylinders but they seem to be all firing. Car sounds like it has a really lumpy cam and it needs quite a bit more revs to take off. Assuming this is an ignition issue?? What do I check??
Thanks in advance!
Hey mate, finally found it. Checked the earth and the terminals but couldn't see anything. Then checked the bulbs again out of desperation and one was a single filament one when it should have been a double one...derp thanks for the help though mate . My turbo timer/voltmeter reads 12 on ignition and from 13.7 to 14.1 when on, is that alright?
