  1. Nah done nothing to subbie since rebuild cept oil changes oh and replaced all clutch hydraulics cause pedal went all weird. Been concentrating on my gemini need it ready for summer.
  2. I just bought another holden gemini and found a few 1 and 2 cent pieces lol
  3. Last year I noticed a drive line vibration particularly in second gear coming on boost. After car been off road for few months over Xmas and then a engine rebuild I feel I\'m noticing it more. It\'s defiantly gotten worse since the rebuild which I finnished about a month ago and done about 1000ks now. I can really feel it in all gears now but only under load. Anyone experienced this my guess is main drive shaft to the rear because it does feel like it\'s in the center of the car not to one side at all. Also anyone know the measurement for the rear gearbox oil seal it\'s leaking a little so if I pull the shaft I will want to replace it.
  4. That\'s where I\'d put it. Is that the sensor your using haven\'t read whole thread sorry😆
  5. Inline with the throttle body is better IMO on the side that tips in towards the manifold because more air flows through that side at low throttle situations.
  6. Yeah I seen that ecu on trade me it\'s local to me I my buy it maybe need to sus out if it\'s compatable with what I want to do.
  7. So I\'m going to go with a 2002 wrx ecu. With the research I\'ve done it should be quite simple only issue will be cam sprocket maybe will have to get the left hand inlet cam sprocket off a phase 2 engine and see if it fits if not I\'ll modify it just not sure what will be required yet. So does anyone have any spare sprockets laying around? I also need the crank one aswel.
  8. Done my 500ks after rebuild oil change tonight be able to give it a little more tomorrow 8)
  9. I might be keen on the sti swap if my other plans don\'t work out my forged pistons are 8:1 so compression won\'t be issue for me.
  10. Cool any info be much appreciated also what\'s involved in swapping to just a sti ecu? I guess I\'d need injectors afm and maybe other sensors that go with that ecu?
  11. Yeah i really want to have a play with modding a stock ecu and cost also this car is just my daily driver I spent heaps rebuilding it as you could imagine. I have an old school Holden Gemini as my weekend/project car it\'s running a megasquirt currently on the old 80s single cam with 18psi and it\'s great I just was keen on trying my hand at tinkering with stock ecu.
  12. Hi first post I have a 98 jap import wrx hatch recently rebuilt it with forged internals. I\'m looking to reprograme the ecu from what I understand 98s can\'t so my question is has anybody had experience swapping to later model ecu? I do all my car stuff myself and my attitude is almost anything can be done but I just can\'t find any info on this on the net. I\'ve had plenty of experience with aftermarket ecus like link microtech mapecu and even megasquirt just don\'t want to go down this route.
