  1. Id have it somewhere you can plumb back easy without the pipe being to low?

    ive got mine (& love it) on the headers so when warrent time comes i have to plumb it back under the engine which the pipe is quite low

    but i dont need a sceamer pipe becuase its already at the bottom of the engine

    If i got to change my place or doing it for a first time id go with uppipe if there is room & can be low enough to not have a screamer pipe but high enough so the plumb back is not to low

    sounds a bit odd. My linkplus (i assume is G1, not sure how to tell) has a base RPM limit, which is adjustable, and apparently it has a cold idle option which is done in what i think was a percentage. Mine is running 850rpm base, and 60 (%?) cold.

    Mine hasnt been tuned correctly just yet (hasnt been on a dyno), but everything has been set up correctly. i have stock IACV, and when cold it now idles at 1300rpm, solid as a rock.

    Ohk but do know what sensors when its cold etc it could b that stuffing up and making it idle weird?

    i should take it in to pf auto and get it looked at.

    from what i remember;

    red = ignition switched 12v source

    green = sensor signal

    blacks = backlight and gauge ground

    white = backlight +ve

    I dont think the pressure or temp gauges i had needed any wiring to the sensors other than the signal wire.

    If you have both gauges hooked up to one sender that could be doing funny things as the resistance values might not be where they should be.

    Have you tried with only one gauge connected?

    Yea i had them all hooked up right (what i thought was right) and pressure sat at bout 30 & temp at bottom

    these have two reds and two blacks? i thought they would just go together but didnt work

  4. hmmm? this doesn't sound at all like my car?

    when my car is cold it under revs and cuts out sometimes

    but when it under revs it reacts to that and revs up?

    if its jsut sittings there idling once its hot it just randomly revs up then backs off abit then right down?

  5. Still having problems with my autometer gauges, oil pressure & oil temp

    neither of them work yet the autometer air/fuel gauge next to them works fine

    Anyone got any idea about wiring them?

    Do they need 2 different earths?

    ive tryed to follow the wiring diagram and used different cables and wired to different earths etc still nothing??

    Atm ive got both gauges wired to the pressure sender as then atleast they move, not right tho, i think its picking up engine vibrations or something as when i rev i the oil pressure goes off the scale and temp goes down abit lol

    Im totally lost and dont really wanna take it to a auto sparky as dont wanna get charged for them to look at it and not be able to fix it.
