I'll have a look after work tomorrow and get back to you

The only reason I think it's turbo is because it's only just started, the car is on 220km and hasn't had a replacement part in its life apart from Cambelts and services
-
Hi all, this might seem like a stupidly simple question and I think I already know the answer, but in my Bh5B under full load, around 5k rpm when the secondary turbo comes on there's a very distinct rattle coming from the engine bay, I'm guessing my secondary turbo needs to be replaced? as this doesn't happen before the secondary kicks in, if so what is my secondary turbo and what should I replace it with?

Cool, what have you done so far?
I've got the bonnet and the front guards done, just need to find and buy some lights, HID adjuster switch, a front bumper and grill
-
I'm also attempting to facelift my BH and as far as I know, the headlights and grill do fit, but to get them to fit you also need the front bumper and bonnet from a facelift, the indicator plugs are also different and need to be swapped over too

I'll be putting one of these in later this week...any tips on the "fidgety-ness" or will it be pretty obvious when I start playing around with it?
its pretty easy, was just a squeeze in kind of thing, then make sure the filter actually covers the whole surface because the filter likes to bend due to the squeezing in

This just popped up on TM....

Ive bought this one and its an okay quality, it is a bit fidgety to fit in to the bracket as it is a little bigger than the factory one, but it was the obvious choice over a replacement from repco or supercheap as they quoted me $91 and $65

Thanks guys, much appreciated

thanks guys, As ive never done the gearbox and diff oil change before is there any special tools or anything i need to get/use before doing it?

Hi all, I recently had a thread going on about repowering my Rev B Bh5 and I've decided to go with swapping a Rev-D motor, loom and ecu in, so I'm just wondering is there anything I should know before starting the swap? Is it just a straight swap or is there some fiddling to do? Anyone have a rough estimate of cost etc.
-
Cheers Rosssub, final thing is, does your car feel better to drive after you've single t'd it?
-
Oh and my cars just hitting 215,000km
-
Sweet, I think I'll do a single T conversion then, any suggestions on which turbo to go for? And whether to go twin scroll or single scroll?
-
Cheers Rosssub, what kinda power are you pushing out after the conversion?
-
How much do you estimate a single t conversion to be? i saw rossubs thread and that seemed pretty expensive

Just the Km's are getting a bit too high for my liking and just wanting to put something in that i can get a bit more power out of, ive got a 99 BH5B, any suggestions on what i should do to repower my BH?
-
Hey all I'm relatively new to the Subaru scene as I've just bought a BH legacy and I was wondering, will a turbo engine from a gen 4 legacy be a good swap to do in my car, will i just need to swap engine loom and ECU? what will I need to do to make it work? and will it need a cert? Etc
All help appreciated
