  1. OK, so it's a Toyota Vitz - but I think these are probably the worse wheel trims I've seen in a long time. And they are made by Sparco
  2. Very nice indeed @94 Leone Got my hands on a genuine Subaru centre armrest extension. Designed for an Impreza - hence the different interior colour - though fits the WRX STi... Taking it to a car upholsterer this coming week to get it recovered in leather with red stitching to match the interior. Further pics to follow when fitted
  3. Nice looking slots on those. Any idea of cost?
  4. I'm considering changing the stock rotors on my STi to some aftermarket slotted items. Probably looking at single piece rotors - can anyone recommend a good reputable supplier in AKL?
  5. So it is. Never noticed. Still works though as intended
  6. Been working away from home for the last couple of weeks but arrived back this evening to find a nice little box waiting for me... And inside A pretty easy straighforward swap. The original unit pops out (once you can get you hands behind the dash) but only slightly as the wiring loom prevents full access A small jeweller's type screwdriver can be used to release the tab holding the wiring connector in place. The new unit simply plugs straight in. Testing before fitting it back in place.... Light turns orange when button is pushed... And goes green when the clutch is depressed ready for ignition... Don't you just love little mods which take only a few minutes but make a such big difference (visually anyway!). Got mine from here - Japanparts.com - JDM Parts,Performance Auto Parts Interesting that the lettering has a different layout to that shown on the site. Shipping took less than a week Gary
  7. eBay. Plenty of options out there. OEM tend to be a bit more expensive but there are cheaper options out there. Try searching "subaru awd badge" for starters.
  8. Bought some OEM gloss black AWD and WRX badges to replace the stock chromed ones... Gary
  9. Spotted in the car park at whangarei hopsital yesterday...
  10. Yellow bridge spans SH18 at Westgate between Westgate Drive and Oreil Rd (photo end).
  11. Had to take the wife into town today for a girly afternoon with her mates so made a quick stop at Meyers Park... And onto the next...
  12. See announcement from government that speed limit being raised to 110 on certain roads. Strict criteria attached. Good news.
  13. 197bhp in stock form but 250 was acheivable with a few $ thrown at it. My 220 GTi (hatch version of the Tomcat) was featured in NZ Performance Car a few years ago, It was certainly interesting having all that power through the front wheels with just a Torsen (TORque SENsing) diff trying (and often failing) to control things Can't say that torque steer is something I actually miss that much Hrere it is just before the Auckland Domain Hill Climb
  14. Sorry - Ray White Office, Cnr Maheke St and Polygon Rd, St Heliers.
  15. You are definately on the right track - think water rather than electricity.
  16. Lucky to find a parking spot anywhere near!! Location: St Heliers Your go
  17. I know where that is Question is, will I find the time to get there before someone else
  18. I was going to replace the original factory fitted fender emblems on my car as I'm not a huge fan of the silver ones. You can get replacements like this easily enough on eBay... Unfortunately, the muppets sent me WRX ones by mistake
  19. Owned a couple of those. The 2.0 came after the 1600 was dropped and one of the first cars to be equipped with electronic fuel injection.
