  1. haha i like it bro, yeah ive heard of other cases of this happening before with other GDB's
  2. k...flying up a hill a few days ago. chopped 4th to pass an old nissan safari. into 5th...wouldve been around the 4200 rpm mark or so...the car kind of 'hesitated' with its boost, for lack of a better term. not for long though, less than a second, then it kept gaining power as though nothing had happened. i dont have a boost gauge in it so i couldnt see what the boost was up to. a friend said he had a similar problem with his version 8 sti too. didnt think it was a vacuum leak or anything like that, otherwise itd be constant i would have thought. thoughts/theories?
  3. aw, if only it had a roof scoop...me want one
  4. yeah, mine doesnt have one...../cry... and yeah coupe or 4 door all the way...some of the wagons ive seen...im sure they had different gear ratios and brakes...unless my eyes fool me
  5. wow that is well priced...worth a look
  6. haha youll have fun in one of those, i actually have a friend who is trying to sell one. the DCCD that they have is awesome - wind it back for fun on gravel and grass. best way to go would be a dealer (warranty cover) or you can buy warranties from AA or similar places, usually for under a couple of grand, but its well worth it for the peace of mind.
  7. Quote from: boostin on Today at 08:57:42 pm Remember to measure once and cut twice...... No, wait, its measure twice and cut once. I think. - sounds like what i do at work, haha
  8. wow good work man, did you just find a wrecked subi for one?
  9. haha is that for real? i cant read the japanese warnings anymore
  10. im kinda on the fence, i was gunna get an evo 5 but chose a v7 because its newer, looks pretty unique compared to other subies, and i liked the rumble. also the dealership evo market for evo 5's and 6's seems a bit...well, quiet at the moment
  11. lol indeed! any issues with sealing, etc do you think?
  12. sup guys, is there any possible way you can get a type RA roof scoop put in a roof? i drove my mates v-limited that had one the other day, and i kind of want one now haha. cheaper on gas than air con
  13. for someone my age (20) nac did an ok deal...had an integra type r insured with them, 1300 a year, now a sti v7, 1800...doable, and my excess is 2 and a half...could be worse for up here, considering state, tower, etc wouldnt even touch me. they actually told me exactly that haha
  14. bang for buck id go for the 7...you can get some nice ones privately for around 16. i just got one, and yeah, its a bit tamer than my mates v8, but it still pulls nicely though. and of course you get more of a rumble with the single scroll, if that means anything to you lol
