Can someone tell me if gc8s have a spring on the clutch pedal kinda like the one on the clutch fork?? I know its got a thick big spring behind the clutch assembly but is there suppose to be another spring??

Ok, all fixed the master cylinder reservoir bleed valve was blocked that's why the slave cylinder didn't have any movement when you try push it back with your fingers

Ok after the bleeding process the slave cylinder rod that connects to the fork which moves the release bearing doesnt have any play in it, i have heard that the slave rod is suppose to have a bit of play init so it doesnt preload the system. Does anyone have any ideas on why its doing this?? Also does anyone know how much a brnad new master cylinder is from subaru?? Im going to buy a brand new one if i cant solve this problem.

Ok sweet, is it normal for the pedal to feel a lot firmer then before??

Dont know if it was the turbo or normal wear and tear as the car has almost done 160kms, the bigger turbo does sit a lot closer to the clutch master cylinder.

How long does it take to bleed the clutch system in a version 6?? I replaced the master cylinder in my car so wanted to know how long it takes and the best way of doing it.

I called torque performance and got told to add timing to stop it from building boost, im not goner use it anymore as 1.2 bar on a gt3082r is a bit much.

Na i just want an rpm i can launch from as i get too much wheel spin anyway, i wanted around 5500rpm full throttle so i can play with the clutch better and also i dont like the bang bang at all

Has anyone used their plug in link g4 launch control function?? I read up that it can damage the turbo if used.....is this true? Also im getting over 1 bar when using launch control, how do i set it up so i get no increase in boost or minimum increase? I have set it to -1 degree ignition trim and thats when i got over 1 bar on launch control.

Yup i know the bonnets a bit up on drivers side, hks filter sits a bit high with the twisted setup

Check and see if the adjuster nut that fits on to the clutch pedal from the master cylinder is not coming loose......i had the same issue in my mr2 couple of years ago and it cost me a gearbox coz i had no idea that nut had come loose making it hard to get the car into gear.

Thats nice man, i like my setup and im glad you like yours and to enjoy my car i dont have to have it in top gear or a high gear, i can always use the clutch and gear lever and drop into a lower gear ;D

not talkin about the evo 5 but yea i agree about the 5 looking a bit wrong, plus wen you push a stock engne over 260kw i think every bit counts just my 2cents

It is def laggier then the td06 but to be honest i dont mind it still carried 4 people without any issues and is even cheaper on gas now lol...............and it did a 11.7 ha ha at 198km/h im soo stocked with that......all this on a very bad track as it rained quite a bit on friday soo some mid 11s very very possible. And on the street its quite aggressive with boost kicks in and naa i wouldnt mind at all comparing different setups.

As long as it increases performance function before form ;D p.s if the honda is turboed then it will be allright to have it there.......plus evos have it from factory due to having a front mount so it must help.....p.s some hate it some dont ha ha i like it, i guess coz i know it increases cooling.
