  1. I'm getting it serviced next week so I'll get it checked out then. It recently got suspension changed so I have to wonder if it's a pinched/kinked brake line but I'm fairly sure it used to do it before they went in.

It just happened at a very unfortunate time... overtaking a wonderful highway-80-passing-lane-115'er when the police officer hiding in the bushes at the end of the passing lane turned his radar on.

I owe the guys at Beltronics a beer.

  2. Subject says it all really... when braking heavily at highway speeds the car pulls very, very much to the left. ABS not kicking in. Under light-moderate braking it doesn't at all except sometimes when coming to a complete halt it will do a little shudder to the left.

Znoelli slotted+drilled rotors, Brembo pads, dunno how worn. I think they were relatively new when I got the car ~15000km ago. Brakes have been flushed and bled ~5000km ago.

    Any ideas?

7 cars were stolen last week, this being one of them so wasn't cause he was being a ***t.

From what i hear black power are responsible and the police are onto it

What would black power want with an old Integra though? They're more about the HSVs, FPVs and fast Japs - STis, Evos, Turbo Skylines. That kind of thing. This kind of car is more likely stolen by someone who knows their way around Hondas and needs a way to get home to Turangi.

petrols got too expensive even for the mob haha

You have to wonder if they've ever considered ripping off a petrol tanker.

Even if you only managed to drain off a few thousand litres (presumably they're GPS tracked for that very reason) that's still a significant 'saving'

Mind you they probably just nick people's plates and do drive-offs.

This way the car can be found and you can remotly kill it which is included in the 399 price via a text message from your cell phone, pretty cool system.

Just make sure you only kill it when it's standing still.. NOT while it's moving!!

You'd think this is common sense though... right?

Set it up to only kill fuel. That way it'll just lean out and melt a piston when the police are chasing you :D

afm plug wont do much - cam sensor like scooby said will

Alarm + insurance for the budget

    GPS for the next level

    wont do much.

ummm if your afm plug isnt it the car will start and die.continuesly

My Version 7 runs with no AFM. It just has a CEL and runs really, really rich.

  7. My old wagon used to sound a bit like a diesel when you started it up in the morning. It was basically because one of the previous owners used to thrash the tits off it cold so it had a tiny bit of piston slap. Went away when it was warm and between myself and my cousin (who I sold it to) we put a fair few kms on it with no problems.

  8. So some dork dinged my STi in the Reading Cinema carpark and the security footage can't see who it was.

Anyway, now I have to get a respray and some panelbeating of (at the very least) my right rear door, part of the guard, and maybe my rim (I mean honest to god how shit do you have to be to hit someones RIM?!?!)

    Where to go?

    Cheers.

23psi on a V7 is pointless unless you have a whole bunch of supporting mods. Dyno has proved time after time that they don't make bugger all power beyond ~19psi, the turbo just turns into a hot-air blower, becomes very inefficient. Maybe if you had a front mount, good intake setup and a flowy exhaust...

yep my car does have a free flow performance straight exhaust from intake

Still doesn't stop the turbo just screaming out hot air after about 20psi...

Yeah I was also thinking the same thing. Ring the cops on the cellphone, tell them you have a bat and are going to bash them. I'm sure a cop will get there quickly then!

My GF's uncle once woke up to a couple of dudes trying to break into his shed. He called the po-po and they said they didn't have any cars available to come and investigate.

So he waited a couple of minutes, called them back and said there were 2 guys trying to break into his shed so he shot them.

5 minutes later there's 4, yes 4, police cars in his driveway and 2 arrested would-be thieves.

Cops threw a bit of a nutter at him, like YOU SAID YOU SHOT THEM?!?! and he replied AND YOU SAID YOU DIDN'T HAVE ANY CARS AVAILABLE... I think they left it at that :P
