yea i hada look at my gbox sensor and it looked MINT!! i thought it may have been the connection to my dash as i had to remove a bulb a while back and thought it may have came loose. but as u remove the dash the connection pops off anyway so i had to reconnect it..therefore that connections fine. but since we're at the subject of "fixing"... how exactly will the Gbox sensor be fcked?? as mine straight up looks MINT!!! but im going to have a proper look again tomorrow

hey everyone.. i've tried texting a mate but he prob wont text back till tomorrow and im quite keen ta jam it tanyt if possible.. Situation: Speedo stopped working a thursday nite (not really a big deal) along with a CEL (code 33-engine speed or watever) and im not really fussed either about the cel lol. BUT...randomly on the way home from work today. CEl was on (it goes on and off so yea) and as i stopped at the lights the car started to feel like it was struggling to idle?? my only enquiry is will the car die on me if it was to start struggling again? as i've gota drive from howick all the way to mt albert everyday and i dont really wanna die on the side of the road if u get my drift

Never ever had a mechanical warrenty...but i would if i was u. its better to be safe than sorry yes $980 or watever the price was does sound a bit deep(to me anyways). but...like the others said..any problems u may come up with (touch wood) could cost more then the warrrently itself..s*** mayb even more than the car!! but in the end i guess its all up to u. good luck anyways =D

hey mate. im guessin the sensor ur talkin about is the "catalytic converter" light... i managed to change me downpipe to a 2.5" and the light never came on. even if it did..u could always pop out the dash n remove the bulb ;D

the 2 thermostats may look different due to new designs as mentioned above.. as for your situation...i usually leave the car to warm till operating temperatures, and keep feeling the bottom hose until it gets hot. If it gets hot..it means the thermostat has opened which is a good sign. if it stays cold u have a problem and engine may overheat as questioned above. hope what i said helps lol. just got home from a 8am - 7.30pm shift on a sunday too

hey mate...my olds had a automatic rvr a while back. had a few drives in it and it did exactly what u mentioned bowt ur mates. i think its just something the car does. we had it for over 2 years and it was mint.
