  1. That's probably the biggest compliment I've ever received haha - cheers bro 😁
  2. Late update but, went bonkers with the Rug Doctor a couple of weekends ago... Also pulled the upper tank off the white car, stripped the paint, then repainted.
  3. If that was the case wouldn't I have some more serious issues with the engagement mechanisms? This is purely the last 1-2 inches of travel after complete engagement.
  4. What stops the clutch pedal returning all the way to the set height? After changing gear for example, it engages and disengages the clutch perfectly fine but will sometimes sit at the bottom of the pedal height. Feels like a spring pulls it all the way up - can anyone confirm?
  5. We stopped next to a stunning V2ish WRX at the red light on Greville Rd yesterday traveling east towards Browns Bay. Three young lads in the car. The car looked immaculate, in blue, not sure if sonic blue or what shade. Black trim. Really nice silver gram lights, aftermarket steering wheel and low profile boss kit. If this is you, nice ride - hope you keep it in that condition.
  6. @Bluntman I thought you're back at NHH?
  7. @Batbaruman did you say you removed your surge tank set up? For sale?
  8. Had some Toyo R888R 215/45/R17 tyres fitted to my recently repainted Rays CE28Ns. Asked for GTR gun metal grey with a steel blue pearl (steel blue as an ode to my grey car). Got more like a silver. Cleaned up the centre caps too. Very excited to run them but probably won't be till well into next year to be honest. Going on the blue car.
  9. Haha 😂 Looks pretty aggressive I must say.
  10. Haha cheers man. Well, 1mm strut clearance, not sure if I should run them even Cheers cheers, can't say I do! I haven't looked at the legality - got a link?
  11. Test fit of some Rota Grid 18" x 9.5" in a +35
  12. Hi Team, Boost gauge has recently started reflecting 19-20psi boost spike on initial wide open throttle (WOT) then returns to 15.9psi (1.1bar) after a few seconds. My understand is that 1.1bar is stock internal wastegate (IWG) pressure - could someone please confirm this? Turbo is VF28 and vehicle is V5 STI. From the symptoms I believe that my IWG diaphragm has a hole and is leaking boost which is why it's taking 19-20psi to open it - could someone please confirm or deny this? Please provide a fact based response if you choose to do so. Secondly, for the duration that my wastegate is not efficiently releasing waste, 2-3 seconds, are my injectors pushing the required fuel into the cylinders? TIA. Brett
  13. Quite a few differences. I'm assuming you're referring to non-sti vs sti? I'm guessing you'll have an sti ecu if you have yellow injectors. I think v5 sti's came out with vf28 ball bearing turbo - not sure on the non-turbo variant. Interior and dash are slightly different. Exterior styling different. It goes on.
  14. How do you tell if a strut needs rebuilding or re-greasing? Is it because they start to knock and that's the only reason?
  15. Hey Team, Does anyone have an engine crane I could borrow and a stand they don't mind having for about a month? Happy to provide kick backs of required!

Pretty, you know that STi badge in the grille isn't level right?
Some days I miss her, other days I enjoy my 6 speed and DCCD.

  17. See the angle of the sticky-outty bit where the bottom of the link connected to the arm - that angle appears to be about 90 degrees. On my alloy arms it appears to 60 or 120 or whatever way it is - not perpendicular to the latterallness of the arm (wow so many made up words in the sentence sorry).
  18. So, so much fun. I was having trouble understanding how much I could actually trust the car. It was incredible. The hardest setting is the hole closest to the front or closest to the rear of the car? My front bar is 24mm and two point adjustable to I'm thinking I'll set this on the lesser of the two options given that my rear bar is 22mm.
  19. Holy balls. New RE003s and an uprated rear bar do SO MUCH WORK through a corner. I literally cannot believe how the car has transformed. Feels like a new car. Honestly can't rate this setup enough.
  20. Polished up one of your old arms @94 Leone
  21. These bars are fitted to a V6 RA Ltd so I'm guessing the front bar will still be OK but I expected something a little funny like how you described. Guess I'll find out in the weekend. I was considering using my factory front links but not sure if it will handle a 24mm front bar.
