Save up for an STi.. and a Link.. then get it tuned for 95 and live happily ever after. Bugger driving to Cromwell to fill up with 98 when you need to.

Spent the day putting 2 Pot brakes on the rear (why the hell did they not come with these from the factory for the turbo foresters) and new DBA T3 rotors on the front. Almost set for Wednesdays track day just got to get the rear adjustable camber arms fitted and a wheel alignment tomorrow!
aw balls, I'd love to see your Foz out on the track, but I'm working

If you have your ECU reflashed to suit 95 ron, can you still make decent power on a few mods?
Yeah definitely! I have seen some cars on here that are making nearly 200Kw on 95! Even just a reflash to 95 you would net a better driving car because the ECU isn't retarding all the time.
I know I suggested in that post to check NZEFI or STM for tuning, but now I'd suggest you give SAS a message on here/Facebook. They will look after you

Finally had it on the dyno after being ticked up well over a year ago.
Pretty happy for an unknown K's EJ205 from a Forrestor.

I think the manual's are EJ208 with the auto being EJ206.
The auto engine does have a higher compression ratio compared to their manual counterpart.

307kw @ 23 psi. Apparently no smoke has been seen or smelt so hopefully it will be all good. I will wait until I have seen the oil level before being super happy though.
Holy crap that's some power!! Nicely done

Any benefit of the alloy arms aside from shedding weight? And do they fit the non-STi wagons?

BP Sockburn - Main south road now has 98!
Lovely! I've updated the list.
I've removed Redcliffs BP as they have not had 98 since the Valentines quake this year.

It can't be fuel... the fuel tank is exterior to the cabin, not part of it. you could cut that whole section out and not have a fuel leak.
DacerX's car had a fuel leak caused by the seal on the fuel cradle being perished. Under boost/acceleration it would cause fuel to bubble out from the back seat, around the area highlighted by OP. At first we couldn't think of why petrol was bubbling from that area.

Can confirm, it's a borrowed/friend of SAS's car. Still great to see Richard getting out there!

500CC injectors and just installed Link ECU which is what it was on the dyno for
Damn your Forester is getting some love! Any reason why you chose a Forester over a Impreza? Just thinking the Impreza would be the more ideal chassis for track work.. but you are quick in your Forester too..

Do you have any reading on how the EJ motors fall over at high RPM? I'm genuinely curious.

Hey bro! In your video, as soon as you got the boot, I instantly recognized this car I was up at Flat Nats last year and also will be again this year! Sadly not in my car since I'm coming up from Chch and don't quite have the coin to drive.
Will see you in a few days time!

It took a bit of getting used to, plenty of low down torque, a bonus is I don't have to fuel it up much, one tanks gets around 1000km!
That is quite some economy!

Looking good! How do you find the diesel engine?
