Hi i have a legacy 2001 gtb. Under the radio there is a slot with a flip door. This had tension on it to stay closed. This morning when i opened it there was no tension. The door opens very easily now. Does anyone know if there is a spring located some where or something else that easily comes unattached for this to happen. I would like this tension back on the flap if its an easy fix so i can keep keys etc in there without them sliding out. cheers James

Hi we recently in Pukekohe got a Gull unmanned Petrol station. Pay at the pump. Cheap prices. The petrol they have is Gull regular, Gull force 10 and Gull force Pro (110 RON). I have a Stock standard 2001 Legacy E-tune and was wondering if i can use any of these fuels. Regular will be out as only 91 octane. But as the others are ethonal blends can i use them in my Subi ?? ...I`d change the cd and go from there. lol. Could it be an earthing problem squeel from the stereo? Check the belts also...... do the fans themselves need abit of crc? ta

If this only happens on cold days which seems to be the same here. Can i wait or should this be fixed asap.

I have a 2001 Etune Legacy and have a strong fuel smell going into the cabin. Took it into a shop and they can see a wet patch and smell fuel when looking down through the Manifold. ( Battery side). The guy seems to think it could be loose fuel lines. Have had an estimate for six hours work. What do you think a decent price would be to do this? .......... cheers

What could happen if you dont fix these Rocker cover leaks? Besides lower oil levels. Does it effect ecu readings therefore giving bad fuel economy? or muck with pressures? not sure, any heads ups guys. cheers

Yeah expensive. I have an 02 GTB etune and have just had one installed. $586+GST Genuine Subaru part. Was told that the ecu will only generally accept genuine Subi parts with this sensor. Quite picky. If it was the rear sensor it would be less than half this price. Oh well the good thing is that the fuel bill will be easier on the wallet now. Cheers

I have one. original subaru. For a Impreza though. I think it is for right hand driver side. Not sure if it will fit. cheers

Gidday My check engine light appeared today. Checked the codes and it was 12 long and 8 short flashes. Code 128. Assuming i counted the flashes correctly that points to the Coolant Thermostat. Taking car to mechanic in the morning to have scaned . If this is the case and its the Thermostat that needs replacing what sort of cost all up including labour is a fair price ? Ta

Checked Carjam but it doesnt state the weights. Where it says for extra vehicle type information it doesnt have the gtb
