  5. im getting code 45 boost pressure sensor/exchange solinoid, do you think this could have something to do with it ???
  6. checked the codes after finally geting my wrx started and ive come up with code 45 boost pressure sensor/exchange solinoid..... searched the forum but couldnt find what i wanted to know.... what i want to know is, what causes this error and how best to fix it. i checked the plug and hoses on it and they seem fine, the vac line to the tb was replaced with a slightly smaller but longer line, and i have just finished modding the motor (twisted turb,swapped manifold,flipped manifold,split fuel rails) etc..... and now when i started her up i get code 45. also the fuel pressure hasnt been set as i thought my reg was broken???? could these issues be related??? chur for any info 8)
  7. finally got the rex running after in the weekend ;D ;D and just found out my fpr is prob seen its days >....
  8. so how exactly do you set the fuel pressure?? got the car running today, pulled off the vac line on the fpr and started turning the screw to adjust, but nothing was hapnin...gauge didnt even move, and wen turning it ,the effect on the running of the car was minimal, only once it nearly conked out turned it the other way it went back to idling (a bit higher than usual) but now nothing happens when i turn it???? am i doing something wrong or could my fpr possibly be rooted ???

  10. just finishing it off now.....split the fuel lines,flipped the manifold and twisted the turbo.... just a few lil things left before i try start it again
  11. chur fallas , been trying to figure out where the vaccume nipples that are on top of the early V1/2 wrx's manifold go.... had a look thru the search but couldnt find anything anyway, i've got one of them hooked up to my bov and its also tee'd off to my fpr..... i have another thats going to my boost gauges solinoid but cant remember where the other is supposed to go to ??? ??? can anyone offer some idea's ;D chur 8)

  16. wouldnt have a clue..... started under the fuel filter and tried to make its way to the battery dont wanna look at it right now, might break sumfn 8)...

  18. finally got my rex started for about 5 seconds after nearly a year........then my engine bay caught fire....RATSHIT!!!
  19. do these plugs still give off codes if you got a aftermarket ecu ie a possum link ???

  21. anyone know what the fuel pressure is meant to be set at??? searched the forum but cant find the thread i remember seeing ages ago that said what fuel pressure shud be set at.... just finished the split rail mod using a aftermarket fpr....any info would be wicked. chur 8)
  22. theres a really easy way to get it off using 2 bolts and a long screw driver... all you do is put 2 bolts in the holes on the front and put the screw driver between them.... lean screw driver against something solid in the engine bay and you shud be able to get it off easy...... google or you tube it if you dont get what im sayn 8) 8)
