Yeah someone offered me a non-stock one from their V2 for $60 + Freight, and mines still f***ed after I got hit in a woolies car park like 18 months ago haha. So i thought PERFECT! as long as it fits..

thats my stock gauge, havent touched anything to do with it. not mechanically smart enough to bother messing with engine things myself haha. will pull the dash off and clean the contacts hoping its that, failing that ill check with the local auto sparky to see if he can get me a new gauge

So Ive noticed this happening more and more lately, where I will be driving, and all of a sudden the water temp gauge will just drop to nothing. Then, it will miraculously fix itself, only to drop again (usually when on boost). Turning the car off will reset this, and it might be fine for the next 2-3 times I drive it, then all of a sudden happens again. included is a short video link on youtube, youll want to mute it as the bass distorted my mic on my phone...

I have a similar problem with my alarm/immobiliser on my AVS S5, ive put it down to a wire on the battery terminal but not sure which one. The alarm unlocks/locks fine, and everything up until starter motor works like you, stereo works etc, but it just "clicks" when i turn the key. I pop the bonner, wiggle the positive terminal, it sometimes sparks sometimes just seems like nothing, then i turn the key again and bam it starts. Might be an idea to check the same on yours? Also - post a pic of your alarm fob someone might be able to identify it and help from there?

Really? Its connected up with the ACC wire atm which is constantly recieveing power, and the whole thing stays lit up so maybe my new Pioneer is different lol. Its a DEH-P700BT if that helps. Didnt want to bother with a Handsfree kit for the car so got a bluetooth head deck instead haha. Makes my Soundstream 6's sound bloody nice even without an Amp. And no sub yet either.

Anybody know what colour it is? Last owner of my car did a crap job and I just put my new head deck in using the same wires he did. Illumination & Access are running to a solid power source and would like to change this obvs. cheers in advance!

well going back to cars; passeger in a freshly imported Supra RZ in the UK back in '06, had it at 201mph (think thats bout 300kph) in 5th gear. Apparently everytime he went to change up the back wheels wanted to kick so he didnt bother accelerating more. Damn british weather... haha. oh, was on a track in Ipswich =]

Im saying its less detrimental to peoples health by keeping them awake and causing stress as the reason for this legislation being passed. as a volunteer fire fighter i have no problem with the sirens as it means i know i have to get to the station, and if i didnt wake up from the siren then it could mean a life is lost. BUT, that doesnt mean that they can try and use an excuse of a BOV keeping people awake. As far as your story of the fagtrain, i agree with the screamer pipe, theyre stupid. But the BOV sound wont wake you, the high revs making the exhaust louder is going to be worse. PROUD OWNER OF A SUPERSUB!
