Im nervous to come as Manfeild is knows as a Subaru killer....and i dont have a baffled sump....dont really wanna pop my motor 5 hours from home
In a road car without semi slicks. You'll be fine. If you're really worried, Dump a full 5L of oil in the engine along with a new oil filter.
Plus. If you don't Come, everyone will think you're chicken :-p

Howdy team,
Ever thought of a cool bumper sticker idea? something Subaru related? Now is your chance!!!
We want your original one liners and slogans,
things like:
"Subarus, not just for Lesbians anymore."
"Some hunt for diamonds (mitsi) the wise look to the stars (subi)"
Post them up here, the best 5 will be made into stickers and available on our store, and the submitters of the top 5 will receive a full sticker pack (one of each) for free!
Any if anyone feels like helping out with the design of these sing out! Its your club remember, we are just the "caretakers"- 6

Howdy team,
its no secret that things have been a bit quite and lack luster around the Welly region.
But heres an event we should all get behind, as its not far from home.
Whos keen to come along to MM'18? and celebrate our clubs 21st birthday?
Im thinking Saturday 12th May we meet somewhere at say 10am, and cruise up SH2 to Tui HQ for lunch, then join in on the karting and cruise that afternoon.
By the way, the lunch is basically free for all subscribed members... if you havnt subscribed, its only $20 for a whole year... so its a pretty good deal!
those who want to find accom can or you can go home, can then come to the trackday on the sunday too, or not... its up to you.
Whos keen to come along?- 3

Since the club is turning 21, will the club be doing a yardie or 21 shots? Also, will there be embarrassing childhood photos of the club for people to gawk at? You know, make it a proper 21st
Jokes aside, are spaces for the track day limited? I'd love to give the WRX a proper go without breaking the law, but I need to sort out a few things first before I can divert funds into fuel, track entry, accommodation, tyres (if I need it) and so forth. Currently, I'll know by mid-March if I can afford to come or not, I wonder if this will be too late or not...This shouldn't be too late... spaces are limited. And it is first in first served. But I'm sure it won't be full by then.

So I was on the way home and ended up with one of these somehow
Which savagely attacked the rear bumper of the car when I finally arrived home.
Now the dark unpainted plastic trim from the lower section of the bumper is laying on the ground...
Rear muffler is shining and clearly visible form behind the car now. More importantly room for the new muffler
Just have to tidy up a few areas and figure out if it needs a under tray or diffuser.
pictures?

OK so I've had a few questions about the Karting.
Essentially, we have 32 spots available, so hopefully we fill them all. from there we split into teams, everyone will get a good amount of laps, and the first team home wins.
So even if you're not hitting the track on Sunday you will get some speed action.
Come on team! sign up. we need to close off entries in April, there wont be any "on the day" spots available, so get into it!!!- 1

Dooo ittttt!!!
Last time there was a magameet in palmy was 2010 and I came up from invercargill. Best descission ever.
You'll regret it if you don't come... even if you fly up and catch a ride with someone else. it will be awesome

Only $20 for 12 months subscription? Count me in! However, is PayPal the only payment option? I haven't used PayPal since 2005 and I keep getting "Sorry, we can't add this card. Please try adding a different card to your account" when I try to update my PayPal account, so frankly I'm giving up on PayPal. I can do bank transfer instead if that works.
Anyway, as someone who registered on the forums 3 years ago (daaamn), attended one meet-up in Auckland, then moved to Wellington and completely fell off the face of the earth I'd love to get more involved with the Club, especially since I bought a new car recently. This mega meet sounds like a pretty sweet way of getting back into the "car club" scene as I was a long time member and one of the admins of SNZ back in the day, and miss hanging out with fellow petrolheads!
I'll try and get a 12 month subscription to begin with, then see whether or not it is feasible to attend the actual meet later, so if anyone can help me get past the PayPal issue for a subscription, that would be awesome.
You shouldn't need to log into PayPal to pay.
However yes you can pay directly to our account. Just makes book keeping a little more interesting.

I'm also pretty sure that a track day under plays at is not a MSNZ event. There for no need to follow the official rule book and these changes wont effect us. The main reason we use them is so we don't need public liability or event insurance.
I will clarify this with plays day.

Yeah it's a pretty easy drive. I've done it in a single tank of gas in a WRX before. It's a wicked weekend too. You don't relise how much fun it is till you get there and experience a MegaMeet first hand
