Ive got to much bloody noise. Ive got a 2.5inch dump pipe to one resonator then 3inch to an xforce (non) muffler.
Any suggestions to quite it down? even with the silencer in its to loud for my old ears. Just want alittle bit of rumble and a bit more when you give it a squirt.
Yip they are in great nick, little bit of kerbing on one mag but other than that they are mint. No rubbing at the moment so all ok, a trip through the gorge will be my confirmation though
Just the ones that came on the mags 215 45 17s. Our roads are so rubbish I think the extra profile helps a lot. Since levelling the suspension and putting the mags on, it seems to handle way better. i have a feeling the wheel alignment was miles out before and now it is back to almost normal.
They are just bridges tome my01s and roadstars, will put something decent on as they wear out, just not sure whether to go lower profile or stick with 45 series tyres.
Its got no wheels and its on axle stands, so ive measured from the top plate to the adjustment point and screwed it down 30mm. All being equal that should do the trick, though ill check once its got wheels and is on the ground again to make sure.
Its done alot of adjustment though, so im not sure how it will end up.
No worries about the "fat bastard " part, I should be fine with less than a mm
Thought so, the back was set up to the right height but for some reason the front was a good 30mm higher. My c spanners arrived today so have been adjusting the ride height back to the cert plate height on the front. Will now need a full wheel alignment once the mags are on. Anything else ill need to do?
You can see in this photo with the gap in the arch on the front wheel and the car looks like its going up hill.
I went through this, ended up buying a b6 Audi a4 3.0 6 speed, best decision I made. Looks the business, much nicer to ride in and way more practical than my old sti's.
Brought a new one New toy for me this weekend.
Im after 18" rs4 style mags tyres and some springs fitted in Auckland on saturday if anyone canpoint me in the correct cheap direction.
Sold mine, on saturday. Looking for something new, probably an Audi a4 b6 quattro, but time and aa check will tell. Something like this but not quite an rs4.
