  1. problem with doing that is i cant actually start the engine yet, all the piping isnt there yet.
  2. so can i hook up to two wires then? and leave one wire off, or do i join the 2 different speed wires together? obviously i'd like the fans to be running at full speed whenever they are on. i dont really need to make them come on earlier with an adjustable thermostat, my link my even be able to be set to turn them on lower anyway, im not sure, will look into that when it comes to tuning.
  3. ok so i want to get my new fans wired up tomorrow but im not sure how to wire them up, the factory plugs has 3 wires and my 2 new highflow fans only have two wires. im guessing the factory ones would be positive, negative and a switching wire, id like to get my new fans to switch on only when needed as they used to, but am unsure how to do this. can someone enlighten me please.
  4. started making cold air box for the wrx, well nearly finished actually, just a little more trimming to do and get some rubber to cover edges of the alloy sheets ;D
  5. are you sure? cause thats what mine was, just looked at my dyno sheet, and thats just on a v2wrx with td05 and 14.7psi. no other mods at all. alots changed since then though so should be pushing over 200kw once i get the tune done. as long as you have the support mods i dont see 200kw been to hard to reach with a good tune.
  6. i'll be designing/making a cold air box for my wrx once i get intercooler piping in so i know what room i have to work with, unfortunately it will be specific to my setup so wouldnt help you anyway.
  7. what year? did you see the one under Hilux? 4wd and 1kz. same running gear.
  8. im sure you can find something there of similar year and driveline, the chassis number wont always be there as there are so many different ones.
  9. haha yea its real handy, and has pretty much every car you will ever need to check up. we use this at work or we have a book from chevron which tells us what alternative/cheaper grades we can use as well, info thats not on that website. the brands dont matter so much but its lists all the required specs/grades as well which is awesome. its also constantly been updated. and yes someone please sticky or put this in the appropriate place so the same questions dont keep been asked.
  10. heres a link for everyone to use - http://www.datateck.com.au/lube/caltx_nz/Default.asp
  11. yea dunno how many times ive answered the same question. or i could put a link to the caltex website we use at work which tells you any oil and capacity for any car/4wds.
  12. not that agree with been ripped off but this guy did only have a 16 post count or something like that, maybe that should of been considered before buying from him. i do think we need to implement some type of system very soon though to stop new people posting stuff for sale. and i think the paid member idea would be great, otherwise they can just go to trademe with the rest of the scammers.
  13. i agree. drunken isnt the one ripping people off is he? sorry Joker but as a paid member i think this needs to be allowed so we are all aware. i dont see why his details should be protected.
  14. it must really suck knowing that the whole club now knows who he is and where he lives, and how much of a lying, scamming fucktard he is. and that he could be facing court action soon. sux to be you, hahahaha.
  15. if you have a fuel filter in your engine bay, the round one like the pic above, then thats the one you do every 50,000kms.
  16. must be made of special filter stuff that never gets dirty or clogged. reminds me of BMW transmissions, "filled for life" apparently, lol.
