  1. i got mine from Roy MacDonald Automotive Engineering, 540 Kaikorai Valley Road for $350 last year. or you could go to Westside Compliance, 4 Turakina Rd, which is behind mitre10 mega but duno how much they charge.

  4. yep i had to roll my guards with 18x8 with 45 offset running 225 tyres what size tyres you running? and do yours rub?

  6. yeah you might get away with 8.5 if you have the right offset. im running 18x8 with 45 offset on my bh gtb and had to roll the guards and i still get a little rubbing when corning hard on the front :-\. i would like to get some 18s with the right offset so if anyone has any they wana sell or trade for mine, hit me up here: http://www.clubsub.org.nz/forum/index.php/topic,14743.0.html
  7. sweet, i can just compare the plugs before i buy one as mines mounted up on the intercooler bracket by previous owner as its cracked and was probably causing the CEL to flash. anyone got one for sale?
  8. i need to replace the knock sensor on my bh5 and was wondering if all subaru knock sensors are the same? does anyone know?

  11. All fixed now! ;D Yup the timing was out. Did the cambelt, made sure everything was lined up and it worked. Big thanks to Dubbedup who pretty much did everything! Very happy!
  12. From memory i think ive seen a aftermarket intercooler for BL/BP made by MRT in auz. It was part of a upgrade kit which consisted of a bigger turbo, bigger or thicker top mount, exhaust, and maybe intake? It was all in a vid MRT put up on youtube a while ago but can't look for it cos got super slow internet .
  13. not at the time was too stunned by the state of it but looking through the pics we took i found this one. doesn't look lined up, looks like one of the markings on the belt is 3.5 teeth across to the right ??? that can't be right...
  14. Unsure if it was out of time, didn't know how to tell ???. Going to buy a new cambelt today and hopefully have it in over the weekend.

  16. Alright guys.. just an update, we took off the side cambelt covers and found a loose bolt that was the cause of the bad noise which came from the top right cam sprocket. The belt is not looking too flash, theres a fair bit of wear and tear that the bolt caused. So we are gonna take the remaining covers and have a look see. We think the timing is out too, is there a quick way to check if cambelt is skipped a tooth? instead of resetting the cambelt? Pics will be posted up later
  17. sweet will check that out tomorrow. had my hopes up but was such a down buzz when i swapped ecu's with MINTGTB and it didn't fix it :'(
  18. Long story short, went around a corner a bit fast and then the car just stalled and yeah wouldn't restart. Tried roll starting it and fired up and when i put my foot on the accelerator it would not rev or accelerate at all, and when i put the clutch in it would stall.
  19. oh ok.. will tackle it tomorrow when dubbedup is free. getting rather at it.. could it be anything else?
  20. it doesn't fully crank over because only two cylinders are firing.. well i think it sounds like there's two cylinders firing. It makes a weird grinding sound on the right-hand side.
  21. swapped ecu's and still not going. starting to get really annoying
