Sorted the segments gear display main functional parts.
Has canbus messaging working. Eg send ff,1,0,0,0,0,0,number to display a number.
It can flash whole display or just the decimal point and remember state etc.
Features like canbus id change etc already worked as that is a standard feature.
Have yet to setup the web config for:
options like dimming and where to read the message from. Or use light sensor.
A page that displays the preloaded numbers and characters and can bus message codes to display them.
Will have 3 blink/flash speeds to choose from.
Need to add presets for the link, haltech, Emtron calculated gear messages.
Not likely to happen though…
Have a can message format to send 6 error codes for it to cycle through.
display drawn in the web page that you can click on segments to turn them on and off. That would then display the can message needed for that custom layout.
Keyboard pcb arrives late next week and already have all reset if the to make a few.
Have drawn up the files for laser cutting the case part.
