  1. I like ur style pre heated if you are half way through a trip at like, 3am.... must say, the rear strut brace in the back of the foz is a bit annoying for that...
  2. i concur, edge is a little noisy... im trying a few different oils myself. do some fairly high kms, so hot running.
  3. daymn they lost out big.... guess its just bk and mc d's up the ave left then aye? wow thats changed...
  4. doo eet.... kinda keen on a zinger one... might hopefully they still selling them when im next down in wangaz / palmy. catch up with some old friends and kill some chikkin. be worth the road trip me thinks
  5. will have to try that... Shayla, did you manage to get your chikkin?
  6. had one of them double downs.... god they are oily.... if they weren't literally swimming in grease, they'd be ok
  7. hahahaha fair call. trawl pick - a - part?
  8. actually, yes. you can pick them up from SCA. i think. correct me if im wrong. warehouse may also do them... why you would want one? beyond me....
  9. mmm no fault codes on the skylines ecu, ran like crap on several different refills. just my experiances. last ime i drove through bulls, mobil's 98 was a 10% ethanol blend, there are a few random ones around that are also a 10% blend. i, personally, am in no position to risk it.
  10. e85 has less power output per litre than petrol. ethanol burns colder and slower, ran like shit in my skyline. i'd seriously recommend against any ethanol blend in a subaru, ever. i run 98 religiously... can get a bit interesting as some mobil stations are running a 10% ethanol blend on their 98 octaine. its getting harder and harder to get high octaine petrol... wonder why?
  11. can you still get the dunlop direzza dz101's? my uncle had a sticky set on his 03 sti, they were amazing
  12. my old work car, a 2009 holden combo, the standard headunit in that wasnt bad, mind you, blaupunkt stuff is pretty damn good... i had reference series 6.5in fronts with active crossovers and tweaters, and reference series 6x9s 3 way, when hooked up to the headunit they were kinda naff, once you amp those infinitys... wow they love it. used cheepo crappy subs as back in my youth i was only after volume, had a 1200w sony 2way amp and 2x sony subs.... good for getting noise control notices from 3 blocks away and for recieving a fine for broadcasting... taste has refined somewhat, searching for a reasonable sound for cheep.
  13. im a bit of an audiophile... had over 5k worth in amps and speakers in my old skyline... i tend to do my best with what iv got... i swear by pioneer headunits and infinity speakers...
  14. im with tintin. a lot of people dont buy the sti's, then spend the rest of their ownership of the car kicking themselves for not forking out the few extra grand for the sti. they are just better. handling, tuning, looks, performance... only downside is the thieves. at the end of the day, its your choice. test drive, let your butt do the judging.
  15. +1.. i have to admit... it just doesnt look right

    light problem

have you driven behind any other cars at night? i believe that was the reasoning behind the introduction of a high stop light
  17. hey, can i pay my new member fee, plus the member price for a banner in one transaction?
  18. yess!!!!! free-boosting rabbit will win for sure....
  19. you'd have him on the launch, being a 4wd, the ex being a f/r, wheel spin WILL be an issue for him. after that, im sure it would be somewhat dependant on exactly what modifications he has done, and who knows how to drive...
