  1. Dear God the Tommy Kaira is ugly. Looks like a mixture of WRX and Need For Speed Underground. There is one around here with an Outback front bumper that has the fog lights removed and has been colour matched to the car which is quite cool but I want the gt ltd on because it is useful for late night missions around the batch where there are no lights at all.
  2. Yeah, I want to get rid of this one and get ltd one.
  3. No I mean did you make a non fog light one look like that by cutting it and putting the lights in. One of these ones
  4. Did you modify a non extra fog light one or just mod the fog light one. I can see that you have smoothed the factory plate part and removed the center, did you do anything else? Btw, I love your hood scoop.
  5. My cars have all run much better on Gull 98 than anything else, especially my Hartge tuned BMW 5 series. And it burns cleaner so better for the environment.
  6. Hey everyone I am just wondering where I could get this front bumper for my TS-R? I love the extra fog lights and need them for offroad missions.
  7. I am dropping a new EJ20D with 80,000 on the odo into a friends car. 10w30 be fine for that right?
  8. I never knew you could have different sizes. Cool.
  9. Nah the metal water hose on the idle air control valve broke, temp gauge stopped reading properly and then the head cyl cracked. New motor time lol. If anyone is wrecking a BG hit me up. Look what the to truck did to my bumper
  10. One of mine stopped working when I was going for a warrant and I was told they either both have to be working or both not working so I reached under the bumper and unplugged the working one and passed the warrant. This was at VTNZ
  11. Know that car all too well. Used to be everywhere.
  12. My TS-R BG5 had that redlight, there was a thing on the keys that made the light skits out when it got close to the red light. Without that thing on the keyring, car wouldnt start. Factory immobiliser.
  13. Personally wouldnt go to a dealer for a car under 5 years old. Pay extortionate prices imo
  14. Well there you go, you want awd, that rules out TX
  15. This I did not know. Bro basically go with the TS-R bro. Not knocking anyone with a TX but if you get it, your are going to want more. TS-R gives you the full Subaru experience minus the turbo, they stick like shit to a blanket, have enough power to get you around and are a solid car. If you get the TX you will just end up wondering why you didn't get the TS-R. Wish someone had told me that when I got one all those years ago
  16. Picked up a BG TS-R manual for a mate with 140,000 for $3500
  17. Guys correct me if I am wrong! From my knowledge, the TX is the most basic Legacy, thus no airbags, no abs and fwd (at least in BG), they also have the most basic trim. The TS-R is the top spec 2l Legacy, akin to the GTB, shares alot of the same trim, ABS, 4WD, airbags and some have the Blisten suspension. As for power, the TS-R makes an easy 10kw more or so. Bottom line, at one point there was a TX BG4 in my driveway, now there is a TS-R BG5B. Go the TS-R, hands down IMO.
  18. Yup have already taken that into account. The one that is on it is from the original motor but I am going to flush the entire cooling system out, flush the radiator, replace the thermostat and put nice new coolant into it I will clean the whole engine while I am at it and when I get time after exams I am going to do a full service plus plugs and leads.
  19. Have you got a pod filter or something to make your AFM rage out?
  20. So the part has been acquired thanks to Dad and Strongs. It is an engine cold start valve fast idle or something to that effect. Will update with pics when commencing the swap.
  21. Does anyone know what this part is and where to get it for how much? I need to replace the whole thing.
  22. And the problem gets worse. Turns out the underside of the inlet has rusted out and has split, I couldn't feel it earlier but I can now. Getting another clamp as we speak so that we can attempt to solve the problem without having to replace the whole unit which looks stupidly expensive and fidgity. If anyone knows what this part does please enlighten me. It is on the top of the motor, in the middle just off to the drivers side where the intake pipe meets the manifold. Attaching pictures.
