are there any members that have or have had one.
been looking at them for a while just after some first hand info.
always wanted one and these having the 2.5 turbo, 6 speed with good diffs and brembos makes me want one more then a later xt .

nicer roads our roads are shoking here!

gotasuby has done i to a few cars here now . i agree its a good thing to do!
if you flick him a pm he could sort ya out
-
soundes way different thats for sure
-
+ 1 on zetums. what size you after?
-
cp93mm it worked and power came on earlyish.
not how I would do it tho .
even the bh twin turbos have a high cr so it wouldnt be a major issue
-
compression ratio is 9:5:1 I think you just wouldnt want to run large amounts of boost on the factory pistons .
tuned correctly it would be fine .
I have some 2.2 rods from when I stripped one down but never noticed a difference, but never looked to close.
there was a high compression build on here a while ago and worked pretty well. power came on early

I didnt the starter motor didnt fall out or twist and do nasty things . in a perfect world you idealy secure it at 2 points like funky said
-
Ok so ive come across another problem the bottom starter motor bolt hole doesnt line up with any holes on the block and theres no thread in it for a stud??
you can only use 1 bolt . what you have is a gearbox thats meant to mate to a 8 bolt block not the early 4 bolt .
every one weve done has been fine with one
-
they come in manual with a 6 speed .
they go REALLY good loved the experience just from the passangers seat!
-
the box is quite larger
ive only ever done it with the engine out lucky me by the sounds.
im guessing your man handling it from axle stands? even more fun!
-
thats why i I mentioned twisting . I could manage twisting mine an the cooler wasnt bolted to a car
-
im sure someone will have one. shipping will be the expensive part however.
-
twist the bov somewhere so it doesn\'t rub. it will be scraping against the bonnet and topmount splitter by the looks.
-
when racing I have no issue with it but might have to look at a solution for road purposes. ear plugs would be the go but I look at people with headphones on in cars and think there muppets so ill be just as bad
-
I took mine out also because of the rollcage but im not looking forward to the noise . I dont like loud exhausts on the road ... cant stand the droan.
but now is going to be madness id say

bd5a should be 96 . hydraulic lifers get sticky my old legacy had it a touch.

-

-
I just threw up. that doesn\'t belong in this thread stance or not
-
Is there a thread on what suspension is interchangeable with what models, or what needs to be changed.
http://www.subaruspeed.co.nz/products/strut-set-cusco-impreza-01-03 chance or whats needed of fitting, iirc its swapping top hats or something?
into what ? the will fit into most subys with a tophat change.
I have a set of them except the ones I have are actually height adjustable.
the shock body is threaded to adjust ride height which these arnt.
thoes ones in the link posted are preload adjustable
pm me if you\'re interested
