  1. Because the subaru loom is a male plug so you need the subaru specific loom. Think if it as more of an adapter than a "loom"... Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  2. Just rereading things and if the car is running ok-ish with evc partially open or in parallel have you checked for a blockage in the primary down pipe? Maybe the cat in the primary down pipe has collapsed? Dunno? Just chucking out ideas... Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  3. V7 KYB\'s bolt straight in. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. This is really the easiest way to do it. https://trademe.co.nz/720681266 Car Stereo Wiring Loom Adapters New this way it\'s just plug it in and no having to strip join and solder anything. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  5. If its the factory stereo then the loom plugs straight into the stereo... Mine did. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  6. When I did mine I just got the subaru end adaptor, chopped the 2 other bits off and connected the stereo loom to it. All of the wires on the adaptor were labelled making it even easier. I figured it was easier to solder to the adapter than try and poke around inside the centre console and frying other wires by accident. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  7. Repco or supercheap will stock the single din compartments and should have the loom adapters which should sort the aerial issue to. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Yeah there are 2x screws to take out in the ashtray compartment and you might need to take out the cup holder as well. I always take out the screws in the centre compartment between the front seats and take the hand brake surround and then the gear lever surround off to get easier access to the screws in the ashtray bit. 9. On a BG the differential pressure sensor is mounted behind the drivers side strut tower in the space between it and the firewall. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Might also pay to check the voltage at the tps if you haven\'t already... Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  11. Failed a warrant yesterday due to an exhaust leak so took it off, gave it a polish and got a mate to fix it. I may have gone a bit OCD... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. No keep it in 11! That\'s where mine is! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  13. Sorry dude! I got it all around the wrong way! Yes hose 12 is the one I run my boost gauge from. Also I should mention that the "Rosssub hose mod" works a treat! On my bg5a when it used to hit preparatory stage it dumped almost all boost and took forever to build up again. Now with my zerosports sequential controller set to 4500 and the pill in the iacv hose boost drops marginally and builds a lot quicker. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  14. Although it could have been caused by the cracked line that I ended up replacing... Will check BBoD after work and see which is maf line. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  15. I have mine t\'d in close to the manifold. But anywhere on that line should be sweet. Yeah I found that I got quite high vac readings on hose 11. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. I found that having my boost gauge in hose 11 gave false readings at vacuum and that hose 12 to be more accurate. I have a bg5a like yours. Also with an mbc you could try setting it up like how apexi recommend for their avc-r by linking the two wastegates via a tee join and blocking the hose off at the BBoD... 17. Isn\'t it just the angle of the vacuum nipple that\'s different? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. I saw this car on a transporter last night when passing through ashburton. Did you end up buying it? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. I have one on my BG5 TT and it fits. The afm on mine is a blue sticker one so is only 80mm so you have to kinda punish the silicone joiner on to it a bit. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  20. Fixed a few cracks in the bumper now just gotta find a free weekend for a mate to paint it Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  21. Check that the plug for the BBoD is plugged in properly Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  22. Just finished replacing the brushes in my starter motor and routed the loom for my apexi avcr. Probably gonna have to wait till this arvo to install it fully, still trying to decide where to mount the boost solenoid. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  23. Yeah sweet as! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. What colour sticker is it? I have a spare blue one you could try if it\'s the right one? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  25. Yeah will definitely let you know what happens! Am keen to see how the factory boost control deals with it.
