  1. it only did it when warmed up, I just tried it before though and it was warm and its not doing it now??
  2. no one has had mis matched tyres on it, I dont want to replace it unless I have to, do you think changing the oil will help?
  3. Hi there my Manual 2001 Legacy GTB E-tunes Centre diff started clicking today, I cant really think of any reason why it would do this, I am the second owner of this car and the previous owner looked after it very well. I also have treated it like a baby and the car has only done 145,000 kms I checked the gearbox oil today and it was very clean and smelt alright. I can only think of two reasons why it would do this: -I lost my licence for three months, so the car had no use for then, maybe it got sticky? -It has the wrong oil in it, the gear changes have always felt a bit notchy. If I change the oil, do you think this will fix it? Any ideas? Cheers
  4. Yep iv done my 01 Legacy BH5 Tappit covers I definitely reccomend buying Genuine Subaru parts, otherwise in another month you will be doing them again, and I can tell you now its not an easy job, definitely took me half a Saturday and yes cost for Genuine Parts will be $300 ish Good luck mate

  9. Mine was electric all you do is leave plug unplugged and the wrx seat can be adjusted manually
  10. Yep my E-tune had the same issue - it will be two small hoses under the manifold - when they get old they crack under heat, so when its cold they go stiff and on startup fuel seeps out, once the car is warmed up the hose goes soft and close up the gap. I would fix, it I had fuel puddling ontop of the block and fuel economy was noticeable
  11. Just rung them up and they only did it for about a month - so now just 95
  12. Get rid of those chromes; give it a one colour respray, and I\'d be happy to roll in it; well actually, as long as it doesn\'t have those filthy chromes. yeah and fix up the chainsawed bumper and throw the monster tacho as far away as possible!

  14. my Dad has a 2.5 Grandwagon he uses 91 and gets 550 kms on a tank - you will be fine using 91 - but you may or may not notice better economy on better fuel......

  17. Yeah ok maybe I will get it done with them then - mine is 2001 E-tune Rev-D
