  1. Daily GC8... Fix cam seal leak, replace clutch, replace turbo, swap out interior, alloy radiator. That's all for now...
  2. Anybody got pics of a GDB seats in a GC8? Front and back if possible? I want to see how fitment looks, considering this for my own car.
  3. If the front/centre diff on my car is starting to go, is it going to be cheaper to source a second hand gearbox replacement, or just have it fixed?

  10. I just bought 10w-40 fully synthetic for my rebuilt V5 STi. But seriously, you will get about 900,000 different answers, its just something to make up your own mind about lol. Talk to the rebuilder etc.
  11. Looking at replacing the original VF28 in my V5 next year as its getting rather noisy and has done some 230kms. Just want to replace with something similar. ie another VF28 or if I can't get one a VF23/TD05-16g. Any suggestions/tips etc?
  12. I think it would be from the first sitting, given you can sit your full in an automatic and then be allowed to drive either anyway.
  13. It's a mix of group 4 and 5 synthetics while the HPR-10 is group 3, therefore not a true fully synthetic oil. The full synthetic stuff less prone to shear apparently thus better for racing.
  14. Ironic you should say that because the more expensive racing stuff 10 Tenths is 10w-40 yet the HPR10 is 10w-50 haha.

  17. B The research told me plenty, I didn't say I wasn't taking it into consideration I asked for the OPINION of clubsub members. Was told to use whatever I want by rebuilder lol
  18. FYI Engine has already been run in by rebuilder.
  19. This question has been asked millions of times, and yes i have done LOADS of research but just want your opinions... Rebuilt V5 STi motor - what oil viscosity should i be using? 5-30, 5-40 or 10-40? Probably going to go with Penrite brand.
