as title mentions im looking at doing a Mega Meet DVD (like last year) and hopfully a Blu Ray Version in 1080 full HD!! so what im after is some high quality (preferably in 1080 HD format) video to make a mega meet dvd/Blu Ray video so if you have some good usable video and you dont mind sending me the orignal raw video let me know i did see a few poeple with hd cameras so hope to hear from them i dont know when i will have it finished or how much they will be but i will keep updating on the progress when i get it going! thanks darren

was only ment to be an ''ideas'' topic to get some other stuff to put in the video, wasnt ment to be ''plan a day around it'' thing but it does help if you can organise things or know whats happening in advance which can save time and prevent fluffing round! as like its been said the last dvd was all freelance (which was good and again there will be a lot of it this time) so i thought get some ideas first might help make it better but anyways i just hope the weather holds out as the camera aint water proof lol

im sure if were not stupid it will be safe the exhaust gas can be fixed by just having all the windows in the car up! as for the falling out the boot! anyone got a harness? lol would get better shots from the boot and less wind noise, dont need to be going fast 20kph would be plenty but if people not happy doing it we wont

nice ile jump in the boot with the boot open get some shots out the back no probs with being cameraman, i was going to use the volunteer option but if harrassing people is whats needed lol

i had an idea of jumping in the back of keltiks wagon and get him to do a slow lap with all the cars passing either side i thought you were putting your hand up for an interview steve

its only a sony hd handycam i know but didnt have the bucks to fork out for the flash stuff that have xlr connections on them! you have to get the top of the line handycams just to get headphone & mic jacks on them! these days most of the cheaper models dont even have them!! i also had to get an adaptor from england to mount my external mic on it as its different to the standard accessory shoes dont need to worry bout media its a hard drive camera but thanks anyways

its only a standard 3.5mm stereo socket

like i said all we need is a presenter type person, i can do the camera work etc and if any one has a good vocal style microphone with a decent length cord would be helpfull (and idealy a 3.5mm connection)

yes thats correct i will be doing the action shots! could do, that may require planing to get the cars arriving etc but do able

as some people remember i made a mega meet dvd last year and im keen to make another for this year so im looking for ideas on what i can film etc i had an idea of filming a few members cars and have them talk about what they have done to them etc (like an interview type thing) so if anyones keen to tell people about there ride let me know! (and aint camera shy ) also if you have any other ideas on what i could add in the video or do with a the video just reply here im looking at doing a dvd and hopefully a bluray version (if i can source enough 1080i hd video) thanks
