  1. i agree with that too! you just need to make sure you get good photos as some of them arnt what i would call good photos (the car might be nice but the photo of it needs to be as well)
  2. this years calendar looks good with the multi cars per month blended together!
  3. i see the months on my current 2009 calendar are going rather fast!!! just wondering if there is going to be a 2010 calendar that i will be able to replace it with? hope so!
  4. $15 for a can of Armor All Wheel Protectant! works perfect just need to make sure you apply it well! used it on the wheels that i took round taupo at mega meet and you could see the spots that i missed haha as its a clear spay!
  5. i remember a while ago on here that people were havin trouble removing the water marks from there windows well ive been told that using a cutting compound will do the trick! havent tryed it yet but when i get a chance i will give it ago but it looks to have worked on my fathers car!
  6. bugger need to have a meet on a sunday! but i guess you cant please everyone!
  7. sorry there joker never ment to be an attack on you or the people that update it! i guess i live in the wrong area for any club related events all though there doesnt seem to be many clubsub events as they seem to be part of a another car club which we can join in on!
  8. just a question about the calendar section whats it for??? it just seems to be filled with birthdays!!! i dont see a club event in there at all! ok i only went up to december but still!! thats 5 or so months of nothing!
  9. are you serious thats huge is that fixed in there? nice choice of dvd
  10. chrome! hahahaha im in the gun metal camp
  11. i like the front lip on the ver8 my ones missing that :'(
  12. 100% agree with that i thought they were rubbish when i just had them put on and was thinking ''why did i get them''!!
  13. well i rather move with the times and have electrics and carpet in the boot so what your saying is that a ver7 and ver8 have bad handling and lack acceleration! interesting :-\ so how often do you race it? which to me is the only time all this is really noticed as im sure most would agree the sti has enough performance for the road i also think they made spec c's for people to use or turn into race cars and the sti's for a every day car hence the electric windows and carpet lined boot (mod cons as you would call it) etc but everyone has there own taste!
  14. if you ask me it depends on what your main use for the car is but if its main use is a daily driver then i see no need to have a spec c version of any as i understand it has less weight to give you more performance and i would rather have carped boot, electric windows, more sound deadening etc for every day use plus i wouldnt miss or notice the extra performance on the road but i would miss the electrics etc! as for everybodys comment on the ver7's looks, to me its a personal taste thing some will like it and some wont so stop trying to defend it
  15. if anyone else want a copy let me know as ive only got a few more trackpacs left at the reduced rate and ile have to put the final cost at $12 for people that require postage etc cheers darren
  16. i got my v8 just under 2 years ago and i dont plan on selling it as i really like it all i can say is if your like me and want it as a good everyday driver i would go the ver8 as i find the ver9's seem to be selling for a lot more than a ver8 and unless your driving it to the limit you not going to notice the difference as for looks well im not keen on the bug eye look myself (ver7) and with only a tru sti fan able to notice the body difference between the ver8 and ver9! (which as i can tell is only the std wheels and the extra bit over the rear wheel arches) other than that i cant tell the difference! oh and as for the interior the center console and door cards in the ver8 is the same as the ver7 with the dash and seat patern in the ver8 the same as the ver9 if that makes any sense so i guess it depens on what you plan to use it for to get one for pure driving, handling and looks = ver9 price and unique styling = ver7 and to me best option for price, looks and day to day driving with a track day or 2 = ver8 factory power all very similar (go like the clappers) hope this helps
