  1. Pre- push start facelift models also have 4pin brake switch, higher trims at least (GT/3.0).
  2. Ajay @Subirex Automotive might be able to help.
  3. @sh76 successfully re-programmed my BM/BR remotes.
  4. Curious about this part - did you have to go to a dealership or they can retrieve the code from their system based on your rego --> chassis number?
  5. No sorry, only had the push start/proximity ones left from my written off BR9. Ask Ajay he had a blank key you need, was a while back though.
  6. Google is your best friend. All you really need is to find service manuals with wiring diagrams specific to your Legacy. Similar to the ones shown below:
  7. Don't know if anyone done it in NZ, been successfully done overseas - you need to run two missing wires from ECU, not a straightforward task. Keep in mind that different ECU will have different pin-outs/colour code for wires. Finding a wiring diagram for your model will be a good start. ECU is located under passenger footwell.
  8. Lol that's 8 out 12 between two of us Reckon we deserved a free copy
  9. Probably the case, work fine from a laptop . : : : Have to say - thank you for voting!
  10. Not sure if the info is helpful at all - similar cable worked well on Win8/10 64bit.
  11. Not exactly the same model code, but close (same MY, rev.D)
  12. That^ Plus you can get a whole bunch of other bits off there just to spread the shipping costs a bit - stuff like missing trim pieces or plastic clips of various shapes and sizes, gaskets etc. Just use the diagrams to find out part numbers you might need. OEM cabin filters are pricey and a bit of a joke, look at Ryco charcoal or even Blitz on ebay.
  13. Purely depends on where and how you drive it. 400km of city driving before the light is on (which means there's another 10L left) is not that bad at all for a 3.0. On open road you can get 600km+ out of it.
  14. From what I remember that silver surrounding has 4 clips underneath, pretty easy to snap them. Use a plastic interior removal tool to gently pry and lift the surrounding, first lift the handbrake side as it's the easiest to get under. You only need to remove the surrounding. Then pull the ashtray assembly and off you go. PS: flick your gear selector into D, will give you a bit more room. I'd also cover the center console with a towel to avoid scratches on glossy surfaces.
  15. Same suspension set-up as any other 3rd gen Legacy. Front springs might have different ratings due to H6 being a bit heavier but apart from that it's all the same.
  16. Not even all single dins fit in there perfectly, mostly mechless that are ok. Not enough room depth wise as there's a crash bar behind the dash. As for the harness, just get [Subaru -> ISO] + [ISO -> Sony in your case] harnesses, easy plug'n'play. Note that your factory stereo will be disconnected, AC controls or anything else won't be affected. As Andrew pointed out you'll need a SWC adapter.
