Hey guys, love the legacy pics, I don't atm have any on my laptop of my legacy, but its undergoing a rather serious rebuild, still staying twin turbo of course, but lots of googies and lots of money spent, I am not new here, but back after a 3 year absence. Hi all, am looking at a car to import from Japan a Subaru Impreza Coupe WRX Type R Sti Version V 1998 GC8 EJ20,what I need to know is the emission standards regarding this age of vehicle and if it possible to bring it in to drive on the road,if not then what are my options other than for road use? It does not seem that easy to find the relevant info on the net? Any help will be welcomed. Cheers Greg

Hi all,somewhere I read in one of the posts about a power drill type noise coming from the engine of the car, but I have been unable to find that post again. I have a noise very much like this on my RSK B4 BE5, seems like it is coming from the left hand side of the motor when you sit in the car and listen to it, has allways been there in one way or the other since just after purchasing the car, but not all that long ago it got more noticeable. Also if I have been for a long trip and get out of the car sometimes it smells hot like radiator hot but have not noticed and seeping of fluid etc onto the ground, the temp guage sits about mid point where it allways has done. Have been checking the fluids about once a week as I allways do and am sure that it is using a little bit of water nothing drastic but enough to notice. Any suggestions/help with this topic would be great. Cheers Greg

Hey there Connor,hey im not from Hastings currently but am moving to the bay shortly.I have a BE5 RSK B4 thats needs a bit of a tidy up,no rust just a couple of stone dents from when some dick decided to smash my rear right hand door quarter window with stones. Also have fitted an aftermarket front spoiler that just needs a bit of tidying up also(paint and new mesh) but fit is relatively good. Rest of car has a few good scratches on it that need a tidy up as well. No major pannel work mainly paint. Cheers Greg

Hi all,im after any reasonable parts for a Legacy as in upgraded parts. have HKS SSQV Sard intake pipe,4 pots,slotted rotors,adjustibles,big bore,aftermarket front spoiler,defi boost guage and all leather interrior(factory standard). So im after wheels,and anything to go under the bonnet as well as a V 10 WRX rear spoiler. If you have any bits that I may be interested in then give me a message. Also would a 3" exhaust from the collector of the y pipes on a RSK B4 BE5 be to big for the job or do i go a bit smaller,its a mandrel bent system that has been well made and really looks good. Im in Wanganui if there are any members in the same town id love to hear from you. Cheers Greg
