  2. well i\'m new there so I don\'t really know how to look up all the parts yet so it was probably my fault and just didn\'t understand the system nah they are fine man heaps of knowledge there.
  3. meh I get pretty good discounts so not really fussed on genuine kits tbh, if the kit last 100,000 ks that\'s good if it doesn\'t and breaks they by me a new motor
  4. yeah well at work it has a toothed idler and smooth idler options and 3 pipe water pump and all that carry on
  5. doing the cam belt very soon and as I work at super cheap auto parts aren\'t a problem, there is a a few different options for the idlers and tensioners and water pump, my motor is the ej20h out of a 1997 gt-b so with out me pulling the covers off and all that bother does any one know from past experience what I need? theoretically all ej20h engines should be the same.
  6. okay cool might go for one of them, to be honest I think they are the same product as they look identical
  7. can you remember what one out of the two it was?
  8. personally I like the look of the big crome muffler out the back but if you could disconnect it and still have it on then yeah sure
  9. done that already but the factory system has reached it\'s limits for me
  10. well I like the loud deep rumble at idle and the loud roar when you get right up it
  11. http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/car-parts-accessories/performance/exhaust/auction-520495963.htm http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/car-parts-accessories/performance/exhaust/auction-520623592.htm if so how loud are they and what\'s the rumble like?
  12. octane booster works fine it just depends what type you buy you get what you pay for like all things
  13. maybe just a rubbish clutch?
  14. mine looks like it could tilt but only the rear one does
  15. haha what a rip they aren't even as good as fusion components and they aren't the most pricey either
  16. yeah same mine is fixed too I think its the bg5b and c that do it
  17. that post you were talking about was resolved but putting more fluid in the trans as it was the torque converter that was making the power drill sound . . . yours is a manual? if its the turbo it will be metal on metal contact causing the sound, if you change the turbo do the oil at the same time because metal filings can get into the sump and you don't want them!!
  18. I thought they were all fixed but have found one that goes up and down?
  19. yeah 4ohms will work fine man just the amp will just run abit hotter than normal as its a heaver load
  20. just remember the lower the ohms the harder the amp works to run them, but if you run a 4 ohm speaker on a 8 ohm amp it will work fine but you just run the risk of ruining the amp at higher volumes
  21. I know for a fact that it's lean buy the colour of the down and up pipes they are white ish yellow coloured it should be black, the boost is untouched but it has gone up abit with exhaust and vacuum lines ect, what problems would I be looking at?
  22. haha possibly still got them seems to be a few dvd's round here, he's in auckland now and all is well so he tells me . . yeah maybe cross paths one day
  23. you used to work with my brother kyle at jaycar haha just thought i'd see if you were on here, I remember him saying you took him for a ride in the ra and he'd never been in any thing quite like it scary fast he said
