I have just replaced my front door speakers with some 6.5" 8ohm Vifa woofers that you buy for kit speakers, They sound alot better than the stock Mc'intosh ones I think, Now I just have to do my rear doors probably just get some good quality coaxials as you don't need component speakers behind you, Sub wise I have a 10" connected to the plug for the factory sub in the boot... the system sounds pretty decent for a factory head unit and amp I wouldn't change a thing.

The ej22e with the 9:7:1 CR has the pistons that protrude out the top of the block ever so slightly so what size thickness HG were you planning on running so the valves don't come into contact with the pistons? People run 18psi all day on the P1 blocks so your not going to have an issue strength wise, If you aimed for a final CR of 9:1 or 8:5:1 i'd say coupled with a TD05 running 1 bar or more you'd have a very fast Blighter

You asked what the differences were between v8 wrx heads and v8 wrx sti heads and those motors just so happen to be ej205 *wrx* and ej207 *sti* so unless i'm missing something here I told you the exact difference between those two heads.

Correction the auto bh/be legacy's are 9:1 and the manual ones are 8:5:1 how ever that's only the rev a/b the manual rev c/d are 9:1 so for you to do the swap your considering you'll need to use the auto ecu or source a rev c manual ecu.

fact of the matter is the whole car is a v3/4 even the exterior shows by this not having the face lift front and what not, i\'m not the one who needs to get it through my thick skull, just because it has a wee metal plate saying its a version 5 does NOT make it one!! clearly the whole car is a v3/4.

you have to ask your self why would Subaru change a wiring loom just for NZ new models?? The car is a v3/4 so in this case they should be identical if not then its just plain stupidity on Subaru\'s part.

yeah this shudder isn\'t normal its exsessive also the clutch smells abit, tbh my money is on them not putting the fly wheel back together properly!
