I see most people go for a full 3" straight through but my question is why? are there any real gains over a 2.5" or a 2.75" for example?

I saw it drive off that\'s all, I wouldn\'t have been able to get out there fast enough because of the layout of my house, but believe me they would have got hit round the head with a crow bar had I of got near them!
