Yep, oil pump seal and crank shaft seal have gone. I'm also getting the timing belts, water pump and camshaft seals done at the same time. My mate (qualified mechanic) quoted $600 to do the lot. mate sorry to say thats not cheap AT ALL! thats like full shop price and mybe then and some!!!! i cant get parts at trade price be less that 250 and labor be around 100

So iv jst developed me a lil leak. Pretty certain its the natorious suby crank seal. Lil drip from centre of motor. Oil round back of bottom pulley. So im pretty sure it's that. Just wondering if there anything else round there that tendz to leak. Just not wanting to pull it to bits and find something else as then i'l be stuck cause ms'z sp20 killed a coil pack and waiting for wrecker's to open to go get one. But wana get this steal done today. Nothing I hate more than leaks.

I got a qoute from spect in dunedin to determin a price on fitting a front mount. (Gt starlet) and he qouted $350. I wet myself laughing at him. Like wtf $350 for 2 hours top's work for something so basic.

Want me do ya roket cover gasket's dubbed? Easy as! Nothing worse than car's that leak stuff everywhere. Sucks to work on them, always get mega dirty. Get annoying burning smell's. And it sucks filling things up all the time.

Well after a days work, lots of swearing and argueing with it the dub's alive. Finished 5am this morning. Going really well. Hav'nt givin it any **** yet as motor im using aint been going for awhile so letting it get used to going again. Had to change extractor's, turbo, intake manifold. Pretty much everything onto motor I used. Now next mission is headgaskets on old motor so I can have a spear still. But over all pretty dam happi with outcome so far. Thnk it time buy a new car. Wrx I think :-D
