  1. Im not sure any subaru come standard with 24mm rear bar.
  2. The abv I was talking about. Is it used as some sort of blow of valve? I was wrong in what it connects to. Secondary turbo outlet to intake pipe with a vac line to bbod.
  3. What is the denso air bypass valve used for? It was connected to crankcase breather to intake on TT setup.
  4. This is the inlet I need yo connect to pump right? Always knew there would be something I'd forget when I got around to doing the swap. Won't my temps be higher if I delete?
  5. **** I can't even reuse the old one because I need a line to the oil cooler. Engine has come out of an auto. Bnt it is. Also gonna have to find a line to run to the cooler.
  6. Convince me not to put the old one on the new engine.
  7. I got the wrong water pump? Top is new
  8. Tbh I got 580k out of a tank going from auckland to wellington and that was with some town cruising involved. I had just replaced maf and o2 sensor.
  9. I totally think you should buy a can of plastidip to clean up that front grill would make a world of difference at first glance.
  10. delayed on the plus side looks like ill be needing a boss kit sooner rather than later.
  11. Speights ale house is awesome. Hopefully I'm not working this time around.
  12. You should skip TT and just go straight to single turbo.
  13. That's ridiculous, digging in the bucket would be just asking for trouble. Best case, keep it as straight as possible and ride it out. Perhaps if you had a grader on the back you could dig that in but there's no way when your in a slide down a steep hill you would dig a bucket in. It would likely just break the shear pins anyways. Maybe if you just used the bottom of the bucket to create some friction but if it catches on anything then you very likely gonna be worse off.
  14. V7 headers, 3" custom downpipe and midpipe with a Ganador Titan muffler. Unfortunately unless you are willing to pay $$ for shipping im in wellington/palmerston north with the stock system.
  15. Ill have a stock BE5 tt exhaust set up for sale early april. Where are you based?
  16. Driving a new car is like driving on a floating platform, you don't get any feedback and it can be harder to judge the limits. Thankful that I grew up on a farm (grandfather taught me to drive) and had cars from the 80s for the first few years of having my license. Having a hefty background in motorbikes and tractors kind of helped. Anyone ever done a 4 wheel slide in a tractor on wet grass down a steep asf hill? That **** is scary.
  17. No you won't. What you will need is a new header to turbo water line because of the different turbo.
  18. As far as I'm aware the BE header tank is exactly the same as a V5/6 STI header tank.
  19. Thanks encyclopedia ross. Once again a wealth of knowledge. Hmm I've changed the turbo, I'm actually going to be running a TD05 16G which makes things a little interesting. I believe that the water return is in a similar position but the oil line might foul on the wastegate actuator. I wish I could have the car and all my bits on hand. Would make acquiring parts way easier.
  20. 99078AA450, will that suit my V5/6 turbo water return? Or is it something else?
  21. Hrmmm still waiting on the set I purchased to arrive. Are scarles usually this slow to process items?
  22. I have one in unknown cond coming off a be5b hopefully in the next month. If that's any help.
  23. Is there a code I can chuck in? I'm keen to purchase.
