  7. So should I look at going custom seriously looking at making weapon bought it for 2.5k dropped engine and my budget is 10k so I have around 5k left in savings for this thing is currently 226kw atw on 20psi

Hello, not looking for ej15 turbo life lol Asking for people's opinions on a td06 25g 8cm Kinugawa turbo I currently have a Rs legacy with v2 Sti ra heads bolted to a ej207 motor from a v7 sti and a 5 injector top manifold with a twisted turbo setup. Currently has a td05h but looking to make so real power 250kw plus and this turbo looks the go but.. There always a but, I'm uncertain what kind of lag I will get and if this turbo is worth the lag, no I don't want it kicking in on limiter, and no I don't want a dyno graph where a 6k revs it takes a 90 degree turn and hits 300kw and limiter is at 7500 rpm. So needing to see what other options I have. Also if anyone is selling a link G4 plug and play hit me up.

  11. I don't think it really matters though. It's stronger and semi forged so it won't blow it will be tuned for after mods. I'm not looking for a debate about the block I'm looking for advice on what mods I will get the best performance out of for my budget.
  12. No it doesn't have avcs as I don't have sti heads or the two sensors but want to put the avcs on but don't have the no how on how to do it
  13. That seems a little out of my budget ay bro, only keen on buying newer parts as it won't cost me as much in the long run
  14. My car has only done 147 thousand Ks so pretty good, I'm gonna be sure to have a look around Auckland. Most mechanics are pretty reasonable to young ones like me. Gonna buy a 3 inch catless turbo back exhaust and a bigger TMIC as well as a decat up pipe as I can afford them. Will also search for a decent ecu reflash price and save for that. So the wrx build begins.
  15. I might follow that link you sent me starting with the breathing modifications the reflash to get the most out of it following on to the turbo, injectors and fuel pump then reflash again.

  17. Yea thanks I was looking at that a chip tune is around 1250$ I was thinking maybe doing v7 Sti turbo injectors and v7 sti ecu. Would this work
  18. Hey forum, I have owned a v7 wrx for a while now and have recently chucked a v7 sti longblock in my car in preparation for more horsepower. I have about 700-800$ to get some decent power out of my wrx what are some ideas that fit in this budget. Car is fully stock apart from longblock. Thanks Kyle
