  1. I was being sarcastic haha, quite keen to try the tyre size as its almost bang on factory. 205 45 17, just gonna use them as street tyres. save my eagle f1\'s for the track
  2. Scored some cheap Speedline rims with some quality achilles tyres, they seem pretty light. 17x7 +48
  3. you should definalty fit the pink ones and sell the whiteline ones to me. ;D
  4. My mates got one in his LH Torana with a corvette LS3 Works wells, not sure how easy they are to tune
  5. nah, they\'re the nz supplier, he\'ll list again. just holding off as I may need my money for some rims im trying to talk my mate out of
  6. hey! that was on my watch list, im sure they\'ll relist
  7. Oh I like, installed racechrono at a price I like, free, looking at their website these 10hz qstarz bluetooth to your phone for more accurate timing. http://www.trademe.co.nz/electronics-photography/gps/automotive/auction-556991502.htm Racechrono already has Manfield in the track listings, already set up with split points and start/finish loaded that makes for some pretty cheap laptiming, or for $200 you can get a flasher one that you can dump onto your PC and analyse later.
  8. What have people used, I dont mind paying for a decent one.
  9. just cos the light has gone away doesnt mean the fault has, get the codes checked. as for the price you got off lightly, most mechanics in wellington are around $100/hour labour
  10. its not that its from an evo, its more the fact it looks like someoen tried to jack the car up off it
  11. oooh, got any engine bay pics, wanna see how your FMIC pipework goes
  12. or take it back and calmly talk to them about it, give them a chance before turning into an asrehat
  13. just lacking a bit of response down low, thought I wanted a car with heaps of power and didn\'t care and response but after driving it for 7-8 months as a daily, decided I wanted more response. If I had twin scroll and AVCS it would have been perfect I think. my old dyno pulls are on the same plot, you can see the red and green lines are the new setup So my advise for people building cars and trying new setup is take someone elses for a drive first, make sure you know what your after. 220kw is still not a slow car by any means haven\'t driven it far yet but definately comes on boost earlier, now its track time ;D
  14. heres my fresh tune with the unmodified vf36 with P20 exhaust housing 222 kw atw at 1.5 bar The torque and spool come on 400rpm earlier.
  15. retuned with stock VF36 with ported P20 single scroll housing 1.5 bar at 4000rpm
  16. you got it, you can even leave the wine bags uninflated untill you fall in so you\'ve still got great movement. ;D ;D ;D
  17. I wouldn\'t be showing of that intercooler ;D
  18. dreamer? how so, looks like a pretty good price including the vband exhaust housing, they\'re about $6-700 aren\'t they?
  19. if you gonna pay kamak prices, you may as well pay a little extra for a real turbo http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=554505378
  20. its not theory http://shopping.kinugawaturbo.com/subarumy082008afterreplacevfxx.aspx
