The oil seals in my vf30 appear to be leaking a lil bit too.. Occasionally when i start her up i get a puff of white oily smelling smoke but then clears up.. Ive got a mint vf30 coming up from funkytown in wellington soon. So hopefully when i swap them over this gets rid of that problem and i wont have to open the engine up to replace some expensive things lol
Fit a real turbo (rather than a weeny factory VF) and then see some real gains ;D
true if you can pay for a dinner plate like yours then some $$$ for a twisted setup is just change i suppose
$400 landed in NZ off eBay isn't exactly Oprah money
Problem I have is that it takes me 4 hours to remove the damn thing. So it took 4 days to build the up-pipe and downpipe for it. Going to lift it higher this time round to find some space.
What your turbo was 400 landed? What kind is it?
Alot of turbos won't handle being too far off horizontal as it messes with the oil seals. Yet alot of twisted turbo setups put the turbo on a big downwards angle.
Oh i see... thanks
They'l be sweet man, I had dark tinted tail lights on my first car and i had no problems what so ever... You could still see the lights so it was all good.. You shouldnt have a problem with aftermarket tinted lights too...
Lol i got a 1990 mazda capella 293thousand ks.. 4 speed auto haha. Pretty good nick for its age... Even tho the rear of the car sits higher than the front lol
