Any age/generation that fits the budget really, prefer something made after 2000 as its getting pretty old after that. The car will be a daily.

Im looking for a Turbo Legacy, Wrx or Sti with a tight budget of 5-8k. Where do you guys think I should start for something fairly reliable (not intending any power mods). What should I look out for? I have been told that if its modified just walk away. How much kms is a lot for a Turbo Subaru?

I am thinking of putting lowering springs on my car, would it be fine to get second hand springs? Will the springs from early to mid 2000's legacy's fit the struts in my impreza?

Yea I jacked is up and then axle stands on the side of car. I didn't use any wood or rubber on the jack tho...

Can I jack up my car (2008 impreza 2.0R) using the rear diff as a jacking point? I did use it to jack up today as I was told it was ok and now I sometimes feel a clunk from the rear of the car when I set off. Could this be related? Ill drive it tomorrow and see if its still there...

Does anyone know for sure weather the spoiler from a 08+ Sti will fit on my 08 NA impreza? I would have thought they would fit but just trying to see if anyone knows...

Cheers, will do that I already love the way it looks but a few small things like the front lip and im pricing up an OEM Sti spoiler which is bigger and will look mint will make it look even better. I think that making the car better yourself and making it 'your car' makes you appreciate it a lot more.

Yeah, I might look at a proper one but may be a lot more expensive. Because this is a NA Subaru, its already dull compared to an Sti (Sti has large wheel arches , biggerl spoiler, bigger wheels, a bonnet scoop and some other stuff) so it might work well on it. This is the sports model so it does have 17 inch wheels, a nice rear diffuser and small body kit tho...
