yes i checked these they are both removed yeah i think now the fuel economy is ok i just didn't know what to expect for this car sorry i dont have acess to any logs unfortunately yes well after looking on the net it looks as though most people have determined that replacing the acvs solenoid fixes this issue, i have found subarugenuineparts.com is the cheapest for the solenoids they charge 120nzd where as to get them here in nz it costs 350nzd for one so i think i will replace both solenoids, although iam surprised at 46ks they need replacing?

nope never had it adjusted, ive only just bought it and its only done 46,000ks

Just did this on Saturday, and yes it definitely gives it a more throatier sound - I love it! also can anyone comment on the mini milk bottle on the intake hose? I notice there is one on there as well what i want to do is get a replacement intake hose - anyone know where I can get one of these?

Can someone shed some light on the "milk bottle delete mod"? Im presuming it means removing the intake resonator from the airbox? what advantages is there from this? also would my 3.0R benefit from it at all?

Okay so on the way to work this morning the CEL came on again it threw two codes this time P0011 Camshaft Position 'A' Timing Over Advance or Performance Bank 1 and P0021 Camshaft Position 'A' Timing Over Advance or Performance Bank 2 I already had the car go to Subaru to check this out and they couldn't really fault it one of their suggestions was that it had incorrect oil in it so they changed it for me, the mechanic there was adamant that it wasn't the ACVS Solenoid meanwhile I got charged $350 for them to check it out and change the oil! Can someone please help?

I would definitely recommend a 3.0r 6MT and I say this as my first car was a 1995 Legacy GT then went to a 2001 GTB E-tune, then a 2007 Legacy B4 6MT then a 2000 WRX STi now a 2006 Legacy 3.0R 6MT And through all these cars my best choice was by far the 3.0R its so much more refined than turbo, no you dont get the turbo rush, but no cambelt and no head gasket issues is a good bonus In saying this though I loved my GTB E-tune BH Wagon only thing about it was i had detonation issues even on 98 octane but I guess this could have been addressed with a reflash As other people have said its really what you are using your car for

I have installled some Recaro SR4 Seats into my 2006 Legacy with NZKW base and sliders, everything fits ok except when you move the seat back to the rear position it the last 10 clicks wont lock into place? it locks into my driving position, but its not gonna pass a wof like it is , and if a taller person drives my car they are going to have trouble!. Any Ideas?

thanks that's good to know only thing is the guy at NZKW said that the bracket that you bolt the seatbelt stalk to on the NZKW rail would need a cert? I dont think there is anywhere on the seat to mount it to like the factory seats keen to see a pic of the seat

Okay so I have bought some very tidy Recaro SR4s to go into my 2006 Legacy 3.0R, I will be using NZKW rails and Sliders and the current seats are not air bagged - will i need a cert or anything?

Definitely I'm in the same boat, I'm wanting to get some Recaro Seats installed first as well, looks like that's gonna cost me a bit too

very keen think ill grab some raptor headers, are they direct bolt up? would i get the same gains as you if i left the cats and just did the headers and an ecu remap? mine is also the 3.0r 6spd manual

What was the sound like after doing the exhaust and tune? much the same? or noticeably noisier?
