  3. For remote tuning, we use the Tactrix Openport 2.0 Cable and software such as romraider and ecuflash. We also support the configuration using zoom or teamviewer. So that way, all you have to do is fix issues and drive.   4. Hey, I thought my first response was off, but it wasn't. I was very very clear in my reply. The older the car, the more issues you have. AVCS solenoid, leaks, maf. The list goes on wasting my time and your time in tuning and to see why the tuning is not going accordingly. We prefer to tune.and proceed from they. You pay the difference in cost if stage tuning. Once tuning starts, we finish it. So if you want to mod, mod while tuning to our agreement where they isn't much to mod. But because of NA, there is much to change that cause large issues.   8. Reviewing the Link G+ log and the maps, she looks good except a bit of pinging, but I cannot see the AFR. By any change, you had oil pressure issues?
  9. It was burning oil long time for a bit. Either rings breaking down for blow by or other issues. That oil burning will cause detonation and if she was tuned for power, that will be a bad combination. Any oil catch cans? Send me a pic of the engine when it was working? Explain how she use to feel and drive.

If the case, will be excessive detonation. Was it noted or was just a one time tuned and with complaints? I see some melting. Could be due to many things. Any logs leading up? WHat was the oil pressure and oil used during the period?

  14. Hey remember I have day job I.T. Tune mostly in the evening. I only have time for forums unless directly contacted. Also I am a father of 3 child. All small. One just a little over a week old. So you fathers out there, you know how mummies can be I will try guys.   15. The 99 GTB can be tuning I believe using EcuTek. Using ecuflash, no! That year GTB uses the JECS ECU written on the box. Just double check. Otherwise, you would have try converting over to the 2001 year using the Denso ECU. Or you could install the LINK G4+ or another EMS to run it. Have a quick read here -http://xtremeracingtuning.com/2017/04/17/emspowertrain-review-thoughts/ If you are going with EMS after your long thoughts, you can look into a Powertrain solution as highlighted in that post to help you determine what you can use. But remember, any proper solution beyond the OEM will be a little costly.
  16. Remote tuning is easy and yet difficult. Difficult based on time and road access. Remote tuning is no different to live upfront tuning, but even more safer, because things are done slowly. once all the logging params are log, you capture all the events of the engine + being on the phone with the customer or customer detail feedback. If any of you need clarification, just drop me an email and I will come back on and reply. It is not easy tuning (practically takes up too much of my time because I Fine Tune) and trying to be on forums.

  18. To your reply @Batbaruman I get sooooooooooooo often, I just prepare pages. So if I post a page, you hear I am advertising. I spend hours calibrating. I just don't tune. I look for the possible way to get peak performance and response out of a car, it is now taking a told on me and my family were I don't have time. Maybe this is why people just likely tune and leave such tuning for more expensive builds. But because I drive and race from time to time, I just love to feel a responsive car.   19. Please direct me where to post. While such chatting was going, I was extensively helping a customer work on his neighbour remove the cobbs AP to tune with me. My apologies with short and not so clear replies, but having many windows opened and focusing on tuning boosted cars really takes my attention away.

I have keep a pictorial copy of it for reference offsite as a copy to the ones that want to learn and understand what is going on... on forums and be wary of it. I do not have time on many forums and help as much as I can. I group a list of persons around the world that would ask my opinion on things or send me a link. You can sure understand that. So let me help you understand somethings and I will respond in the future who needs clarity on things when queried. I don't have time to be on replying to nonsense, as one would expect I am very busy. I am west_minist. A simple search would show who I am and my graphs or research all over the place spanning many years. So it would be ignorant of me to pretend otherwise. So I do not know what you are referring to. There are a few of us that now takes part in promoting and communicating on XRT behalf and when we make changes, it is based on tthose persons request. Maybe you could ask if I have such a car? I know that was too difficult. One must show authority and force. The links posted yes is what I run and its intentions for persons in europe having such cars wanting v5 bits and pieces. If you are on the group, you would see my car. You don't understand remote tuning or farless may have a good one or just get having good support otherwise. I will leave this part alone and you will learn over time as more serious tuners continue to grow this service. If you have a local person that is good, use them. If you seek alternatives, then many companies or individuals like XRT is out there that one can look at. Don't put the shady remote tuners in all one basket with good tuners that many of you help grow to that level. My customer service comments over the years will show otherwise for XRT. Even now I have an Aussie advising me how to work to change the game that have been damage by tuners in your region. Only just now a customer sent me a vid of a well know tuner talking about what is going on in the industry of tuning where people paying large sums of money and cannot get "fkin" car of the trailer. his exact words. I echo the same views out there. You have a wonderful day sir and I encourage others on here, check around. Check online. You will find the true competence around and dont let no one bully you or accept poor service. I would encourage you to go online and delete all of my work You are welcomed to do that at every corner of the earth where my customers are based to here .
