Haha ok. What are they as standard?

Ok I got the plugs recommended though it doesn\'t state what the gap is. What are they normally and how can I regap them if i need to. I need a special tool I guess?

hey i have been to super cheap today to get plugs for my B4 they recomended through there ngk Manual Iridiums at $30 each. im not really into that price tag. im after copper equivalents witch they could not help me with.. do i need to run iridium or platinum plugs? im not that worried if the copper ones dont last as long. As long as they work correctly. Your advice would be much appreciated, Matt

Hey, I have also been having some problems with my b4 surging when accelerating hard, from what ive read it could be one of a few things. Does anyone know what the cost of changing spark plugs/coils is being that they are annoying to get to. also who is a good cheap mechanic in christchurch my Subaru guy is now closed....

If the blow off valve was loose would that cause the problem

it seems to happen the most when the second turbo begins to come in.. but only in 4th and 5th and once so far in 3rd. could it be the solanoid?

ok ive been for a another drive this jerking is only happening in 4th and 5th gear.. would that mean its not a turbo issue..? mabey something in the drivetrain slipping? mabey something to do with the knocking i have been hearing.

from reading other threads im thinking 15 psi is normal.. i dont ofter look at gauge when going that fast.. (its where the ashtray is).... anyway mabey the problem is something to do with the knocking coming from the c.v area..?

Hey i am having some trouble with my b4.. Today after over taking a truck on the highway, I have been having some weird turbo issues. When the first turbo boosts at around 4k the car starts jerking a bit back and forth as if loosing and gaining boost the boost gauge needle jumps between 11 and 15 psi. if i floor it the second turbo is boosting 15 psi! im sure it shouldnt be that high. has anyone had such issues, anyone know what might be going on. also have noticed when driving and i take my foot off acelerator and cruise along im getting a knocking sound and i can feel it in the footwell. i have had a look under the car and the boot coming from the gearbox on the left is torn could this have cracked possibly? Thanks, any comments would be appreciated

Hey I had read somewhere on another thread about regressing the suspension. They had said just jack the front of the car up and throw some grease in. Now I was just wondering what type/brand should I use and where would I get it from? Thanks Matt

I have a b4, if I accelerAte to the point where the turbos switch over. I find the first turbo won't even spool up through the next gear though the second turbo still opens up at the changeover point.. Does This sound normal.. I generally would not change gear at this point apart from accidentally but if I do it's quite annoying..

It was a whining.. Hasn't done it in a while now.. So I'll forget about it for the moment the strange thing about the knocking coming from my frontal dirction is it only after driving for some time. A friend of mine thinks I'll have to get the bushes done soon...
