Did it come free with your $36 coolant hose kit?

For anyone tired of the poor choice of 5x100 wheels available.
Brand new 1045 billet front hubs we have made up for a good customers rx3
made up so the stud pattern could be changed to 4x114 from the factory 4x110
while still using the factory discs and factory bearings.
Being that wheel choice's limited them we developed a better option.
For your very own set get in touch with contact us.

Unless tuned to take advantage of the higher knock resistance, you are running a fuel that is less willing to burn and might have less energy than BP98.
If you have a Jap spec ecu that was tuned to 100 octane... then awesome.

It’s also not everyday a Subaru runs a 10sec quarter or even an 11 with the amount of supposed 300+kw Subaru’s out there these days.
Probably coz we don't care about drag racing
Good on ya though.

Air filter certainly looks like it's seen better days.

lexan expensive ?
every gram counts.
my 2 door frenchie is heavier than my old 5-door golf !
Fairly expensive... but it's all relative. They were more than a set of semi slicks... more than a full set of brake pads and rotors... less than a full set of race gear... less than a turbo.
Bought them for weight saving... but also to get some airflow through the car.

He was pretty thorough with the old V6, so I can't imagine he'll leave much this time around.
That was the rear doors in a 4 door, which didn't need to be very useable... the coupe fronts will be more challenging... need to find a balance between weight saving and usability. My main concern is how floppy they might get with the inner skin removed. I will probably need an
aluminium skin to stiffen them up a bit.
I only have kitchen scales that go up to 5kg so cant weigh the door glass... the lexan window is 2.8kg though.
Lexan is supposed to be about 50% of the weight of glass though.

Are the windows premade? Please weigh them, and then the respective glass they replaced
yes, pre formed kit from plastics4performance... I will weigh everything for sure... including all the crap I cut out of the front doors.

New rear axles and Lexan kit arrived this week
Anyone know if Repco or Supercheap will have axle nuts or will I have to go to Subaru?

If you drive without a thermostat the engine will never reach the correct operating temp on the open road... unless your radiator is blocked of course,
in which case it will still over heat. I suggest you get it checked and get a new thermostat before driving it anymore.

That sucks. Not a tiki tour breakage?
No... burn out up to start line. I've been doing them a lot, and was wondering how much more it could take before something broke.

Broke a rear axle before I even got to the start line at Port Rd Sprints

Yesterday I tried to check the gearbox fluid level... but dipstick had broken off!
Had to drain the oil and fish it out through the drain hole.

Speaking of Road Sprints - spotted @preim at the Northland Car Club's yearly Doctors Hill Road hill climb on Sunday.
No surprises who won - the guy who has the old Orange Starlet with a Hayabussa engine in it.
I beat that guy a few weeks back... not officially though as the club running the event can't do basic math.

Skid marks and holes in fences..someone has repairs this week..
Your car is going well Loren..
That's where the Evo went off. I didn't see the damage as they just left it there for the whole day. Too far down to tow back up.
The car is going well... the driver needs to be more consistent though.

Sunday sprint. 2nd in class and 4th overall. I felt slightly better about being beaten by an Evo when it crashed.

Don't panic... unlikely a sump swap would have done anything... it's no different to an oil change as far as the motor is concerned.
Just keep an eye on the oil consumption for a while.
