their no zonellis - not sure of branding though will hit them up when I pick them up next week. A mate of mine rates them and uses them on his s13 race car at manfield in the intermark sprints...garrentee you wont notice the difference unless your at the track every day of your life. ;D

umm i got 50/50 Street/Race compound pads and all four Disk slotted for $860 all up...

yeah i ordered wiseco oversized pistons and rods on monday last week so hopefully their here by middle of the week...this will solve all the problems once shred have finished the tune! Heads are all apart and going to get flowtested and machined, along with flywheel, clutch and crank to get balanced. Hoping to have everything back and together by the end of next week at the latest so i can drop it back in over the weekend. Also got everything for the split fuel rail while the engine bay is in pieces so have some busy weekends ahead prior to MM!

damn that sucks! i wonder why they didnt make the 2.5 pistons semi forged from factory? makes no sense! Did yours damage the bore when it popped?

mmm i'm running on a very short timeframe so it'll get left as a Semi Closed at this stage! + wasn't expecting the rebuild so haven't really budgeted for it either :'( so sort of winging it at this stage and see if I can keep the total build below 4 grand (not gonna happen i know!)

yawn, so after work last night decided to crack into and pull the engine. 1 1/2 hours later... Da daaa! and then it all went downhill from there. Pulled everything apart and what do ya know, a perfect engine destroyed in less than 4000ks. Nice big chunks missing! Okay so going for the Forged look from here so this can't happen again anytime soon. check out my garage section for updates. Thanks

Yeah Ryan hadn't got it tuned after the ej25 was put in although he said he had. he was running a 20 pound ej20 map fuel map on it... I was under the impression Speedtech had tuned it twice but infact they hadn't seen it since the first tune on the ej20. explains everything and also why the engines weren't lasting. I got the bad end of the deal in this case but meh, get it fixed is the only solution from here. no point in bitching about douch bags who lie when selling cars cause the whole world is full of them!

yeah the turbo can't supply enough air to the engine so starts to run out of chuff at 4500rpm will post up dyno results from the run so you can see it happening.

ah it is as suspected, redid the comp test and turns out 2 out of 4 are stuffed ( must have got a faulty reading the first time round ) Will pull the engine on saturday and see what the damage is. I will still make it to megameet!!! 1 2/3 Month till d day! Once everything is stripped back i'll order parts from the u.s on Monday. Will update post with rebuild details Greg
