  1. Awesome, so you paid for a WOF elsewhere and all good?
  2. I'll get the wheel bearings checked, thanks for that! I don't have crap tyres but thanks for the suggestion.
  3. Hey guys, Starting to investigate a "Whine" that comes from the front of my car when cornering. It's never there driving straight. What sort of things should I be checking out, or getting more detail on to diagnose? In before "Just drive in a straight line all the time problem solved" haha
  4. Is it true that I can wait out the 30 days and then get it checked somewhere else? They were done @ pro tinters but by the previous owner (who has now left the country) so no idea who would have done them. He was from New Plymouth.
  5. Can you buy factory tinted glass?
  6. Passed there before previously... Can't understand why ping it now? ffs
  7. They said they are 28% But they were done professionally to 35% Do tints get darker over time?
  8. Hey guys, Looking for suggestions, my tints have passed their last 3 warrants flicking them through VTNZ... Now upon returning to VTNZ for the lastest warrant, the pricks reckon their too dark! I don't want to have to remove them, they cool the car down soo much!
  9. Keen, couldn't go this year due to family stuff, and Taupo is only just down the road Have two friends that aren't yet CS members who are keen to come too, Legacy Wagon and a Hyundai Coupe
  10. Mistsi's are pretty common for blowing those (torque converter) checkout their forums
  11. Resolution! So I must say I'm relieved. The guys have replaced the broken, and resolved the popping issue. The strut was as Tony said, a piece of rubber missing, replaced that and all is swell! So very pleased with their service in the end, they just sucked it up and got it sorted for me. Mag and Turbo Rotorua! Those guys there really do love their jobs a little too much though I think
  12. Yeah I was looking at him tightening things through the back window. I know the moment when it happened, and the whole time when he was doing it i was thinking "I don't think he should be using a rattle gun for this". But I never checked it until after I left, the cap was put back on it too so when I took if off and saw that, well, y'know...
  13. Exactly, especially when your looking for a reason it might be making funny noises huh?
  14. Dropped it back this morning, the guy "didn't realise" that it had happend... but he is sorting out for me today anyhow. I'll letchas know what the craik is later
  15. Thanks Loren! There is abit too much play in it, but i'll get it sorted this morning hopefully.
  16. So I recently had some different struts put in my car, afterwards I noticed a "popping" type sound in the back. Mate checked it out and found the nut on the shaft was loose, so we tightened it, and less of a sound, but still there. Took it to a place today, thought they would tighten it some more for me (rattle gun?) unfortunately this didn't fix the issue, and now I have this picture for you (spot the problem) Yes they tried to tighten other things too... /Discuss /Laugh at me.
  17. I'll have the shell, how much do you want?
  18. If it's something your (obviously) concerned about, have you considered replacing all your hosing for flash 3 layer silicon stuff or whatever it is?
  19. Mate came over today, decided to vaccum inside the car, but it turned into a rip everything carpet up out and an all day job to find rattles and stuff. Cleaned etc and put everything back. About $2.65 in change, and a bunch of Japanese coins? Also moved the turbo timer from just inside the door to where the ashtray in the car is now, looks alot tidier and much more bond there
