I have heard its not worth rebuilding callipers as it wont always fix a sticky piston?Better to find a replacement 2nd hand one mayby? Any one got one you guys that have done 4 pot conversions? Are wrx and legacy 2 pot calipers the same? cheers

Is it normal for one brake calliper to feel hotter to the touch than the one on the opp side? My drivers side front allways feels hotter than the passinger side front one. It had new pads not long ago

My 99 BE5 runs 10psi on primary, 14-15psi secondary

Had a look at the car today, Noticed that there was alot of brake dust on the front right mag compared to other wheels so I bleed the brakes and Damn the car feels like it gaind 50kws and didnt make that noise on the short drive I took it for. Guess the pads where rubbing a little on that corner

You can't, unless it's recirculating. And then you need it to fit in the tight space between the IC and manifold. Yeah I put a 50/50 atmo/recirc hybred bov on it, mounted on the IC. I dont even know where the secondary bov is lol

Damn just put the gfb valve on , From brand new

So chaps how do you fix this george

Hey had this car a few months now reasonably happy with it but have a few things Im not sure about Its a manual 99 b4 rsk 1, I opened up the fuse box under the bonnet and noticed that it is missing a fuse for the fuse marked VCD off , Normal? 2,What is the rev limit for these cars ? I have taken it to 7500rpm marked red line on the factory tacho a couple times but it seems to want to go further , ecu is standard afaik, Dont even know where it is to check 3,Sometimes when sitting at 100kph im sure i can hear a vibration buzzing sort of noise.not exhaust rumble. and im sure the boost gauge is sitting higher in the VAC than normal when it does this, I checked as many hose clamps i could see, After 10 or so kays it normally goes away, perhaps just my imagination? lol

Any one know what is the most commen heat sheild to work itself loose?

I have the same noise cant find any loose heat sheilds, Can only hear it off throtle . 99 B4 TT, Let me know if you find it

I have a 1999 be5 rsk b4 manual. It has this controller installed. Was wondering where the best point in the rev range is best to change over to secondary? And also where to set it for changing back to primary? Car has only a gfb hybred BOV and after market muffler on the back. The controller is currently set at 4500 for change over and 3300

Cheers fellas, took out the nic nak tray iI did spot those 2 screws inside the ash tray but didnt think they were it. guess I was wrong, will check that link tomorow, Sweet.

Want to change my headunit but cant get the brushed aluminum surrond off, Can get it to unclip around the top and cupholder but cant get it to come off near the bottom by the ciggy lighter and ashtray. Is there some hidden bastard screws somewhere there? cheers
